I was just remembering in the past, before Ahem fell in love with his Gopi how there were a lot of calls for Gopi to get her independence and maybe go into business for herself, wowing her husband with her business acumen and showing him that you didn't have to be educated to be a success. This in turn would take the blinkers from Ahemji's eyes and he would finally acknowledge that Gopi was the one for him.
Ok so it happened the other way round.
Now as far as I can recall most of us thought that if Gopi was going to go into business it would be in the fashion industry, especially after the designer Tejas came and was amazed by Gopi's prowess with a needle (although what kind of a designer was he that the simple act of putting a border around a scarf amazed him so much!!)
But seeing as Gopi is amazing in the kitchen and has been since day one it makes equal sense that her business be kitchen based. But being SNS it had to be a track that would annoy some of the fans with it's length and inanity. However just imagine! She's starting with pickles, she could move onto chutnies, sauces and other condiments!! This week we are bottling Rashi achar next week it could be Rashi Raita!! There is potential for this to grow and grow and become a real leader in the industry and with the backing of Golden Boy Modi there's no stopping them!!
So finally the CVs have listened to the calls of the fans and turned Gopi into a business woman. Now if they would stop her being such a watering pot too. I have hopes!! Ahem did say he wantedt the business so that Gopi would grow in confidence so surely through this we'll see less tears!!
