I'm not at all active on this forum. Dont even like the show. I know, i know, then what am i doing here? I hate it myself when bashers comment on my favourite forums too. So, i'll just have to apologize in advance. Sorry. So here goes:
blatant disregard for women. Primitive, cave man ideals. And sheer boring storylines. But i get it, a lot of people like this stuff. My problem with the show is that its so unrealistic. Real characters like Kinjal, Rashi are always shown in bad light or ridiculed. Real people are like this, sometimes jealous, sometimes rude to their parents. They feel hurt, insulted, angry and have self respect.
Characters like Gopi, even if they exist, are a bad influence on society. People who have no self confidence or self esteem.. Women who let their husbands and mothers-in-law walk over them. Women who's only weapon is crying, now that just plain sucks. Also, Kokila's character.. What is up with that? She has to impose her idiotic rules on everyone! Forced her kids into marrying people they didn't like, but still she's right! Why? Why is she always projected as a good, intelligent and great woman! She's a dictator. She behaves rudely and is mean to everyone but that is never corrected. I thought that when Jigna came to the show, she would bring some change in her sister. But no, Kokila's perfect. Sheesh.
Fans of the show must already hate me, so i'll sign off with something positive. The clothes are pretty and the lead guy's body is good, though he's a terrible actor. Well, that's that. Will never come here again, just wanted to get this off my chest. My mom has stopped watching this show! This post is in celebration of that! Sorry to the fans again.
