Since the Modi's are in a pickle making frenzy and Urmi seems to be joining in this thread is for listing your favorite pickle... go on make us all hungry 😛

Mine in order of favorites are Mango, Mixed veg, Jackfruit 😎

Oh and feel free to share your family secret recipes for pickles! I am particularly looking for an awesome sweet/sour mango one 😃

I like chilly ginger and garlic pickle.

I am a non-vegetarian by choice and have developed a taste for prawn pickle...one bite at a friendz place and I was hooked( my parents have no idea that I eat non-veg)😉

My mum used to make her own lemon. lime and green chilli pickle. Whenever I ate or even smelt it, it took me back to Pakistan and sitting on the banks of a clear, flowing stream and eating the pickle with chapatti for lunch. I haven't got the time nor the energy to even think about making it myself so I will stick to shop bought pickle.

I like esp mango pickle...but then u have a option of aamla,lemon pickle also...

@Vidisha...wow...prawn pickle...my mouth is watering😛..but then my bad-luck ...cant eat non-veg for next 2 months..so as for now have to control my temptation

My grandma would surely be cursing me...she was too orthodox ...and I have broken quite a few of her rules...eating non-veg is one of them

WOW!!! this is a good tribute to our achar putri..👏. well, im a non -veg and im pretty proud to be one... (After all im not eating up all the greenery left in this world 😉) so my fav achars are all non-veg... meat picle .. fish pickle.. prawn pickle etc etc and also sweet lemon pickle 😊
