The Rescue of Jessica McClure was more gripping. It was a true story about and 18 month old girl who fell down an abandoned well and the film focused on the rescue efforts to save her. I don't know what the malayalam movie was like but I would recommend Jessica's movie. I held my breath. Oh btw. Thank you for sharing the photos Christine. They do look tired and lost.

The Rescue of Jessica McClure is the original movie, the Malayalam movie "malooty" is its Indian adaptation with some initial family scenes..!

Shouldn't really discuss the original movie, but wasn't it thrilling and emotional. I almost cried at the end.😳

Oh my gosh you remember Jessica McClure? I was young when that happened. I remember my parents being glued to the TV watching the rescue.

I came across the film by accident. If your parents were glued to the screen I can understand why. It was one heck of an event. I showed it to my sisters, my parents. We all sat together and watched it.

Oh I never saw the movie, just the real live rescue, still remember it to this day. Imagine she is married with a child now I think.
