i agree...the discrimination against newbies is becoming a problem. and also certain members trying to tell others what to do as if they own the forum.

Over the last few days, the number of threads I have closed because of fighting and bashing, and the number of PMs I have received is staggering.

What is the point of all this?


Both Giaa and Devoleena fans have a right to be on this forum.

Giaa was the original Gopi and she, along with the other cast, brought the show to the highest TRPs Indian television has ever seen.

But Devoleena is now a part of the star cast of Saathiya. Her fans are just as welcome on the forum as Giaa fans.

Both opinions need to be respected.
But instead of respect, I see people countering the others' opinion with sarcasm or contempt. Why is a person a 'traitor' if they enjoy Devoleena? Why must a person be forced to 'move on' if they wish to see Giaa back?

If you do not enjoy Devoleena, then keep away from threads that appreciate her.
If you don't want Giaa back, then at least don't hinder the others who are working so hard to restore the show to the way they loved it.

And if you see a person posting a sarcastic remark, instead of responding with more sarcasm and escalating the situation, please simply report the thread and let me deal with it.

No more bashing will be tolerated. Be it actor, character, member, or forum bashing. If I see any more bashing posts, they will be closed immediately, and the person waned. Repeat offenses will lead to Warning levels being raised.
Anyone who posts a sarcastic comment in an otherwise clean thread will also be warned immediately.
Anyone who picks fights with members or posts comments to deliberately rile up members will be warned.
