After Friday's episode I was left wondering why was Gopi so shattered after Rashi's words and her own confirmation that Ahem loves her only for the baby. She already knows he likes her and is happy with her - he annouced that to the world. That also shows in the way she interacts with him now.
I think the issue now is Gopi's expectations. Till now there was none - she was happy with whatever she got from Ahem - friendship, care, concern, liking. Now she wants love and nothing less would make her happy. I guess that is why Rashi's revelation was so sad for her.
Now she has far more power in Gohem relationship than ever before. Ahem has himself handed it over to her. It would be really interesting to see how Ahem goes about mending their relationship as now the dynamics of their relationship has reversed. It would be Gopi who would be prejudiced and have doubts while Ahem would try to bridge the gap. Waiting for it to unfold. Hopefully it would be as beautiful as their journey so far.😊
Side note - I think Rashi's words will backfire on her. I think her kalakari (CD) will be exposed and she would be accepted in the family and by Jigar only because she would be pregnant.
By the way, I am now one week past my due date and am leaving for the hospital in next couple of hours as the baby refuses to come out on it's own. Wish me luck!!! Hopefully I would still get time to come to the forum for next 6 months while am at home on maternity break.
