Ahem's desire to pamper his wife distracted him from he work in the evening as well. He thought back to Jigar's suggestion of taking Gopi for dinner and decided that this would be a good idea. With that he was pleasantly surprised to see Gopi entering their room with a pile of ironed clothes. He immediately eased her of any tasks and got her to have a rest, only for him to ask for her assistance as to where to keep the clothing in the cupboard. The unspoken words and eyes and facial moments shown just how much in tune they are with each other.
With that done he looked on at her and so wanted to take this chance of spending the much waited alone time with his wife, he closed the door and looked back at her surprised look. She too looked on at him shyly half expecting his intentions. Ahem was on fire. He possessed a love crazed look as he approached her. It felt much like a predator about to pounce his prey. She stood up and turned away. His embrace and want to kiss her was awesome. His besotted self was penetrating and unyielding while she simply melted into his frame and his warm and loving cuddle.
He turned her around and wanted to tell her of his intentions but she politely excused herself as she was feeling sick. Again Ahem was left stumped not knowing what to do.
This little moment was a miracle in disguise for Ahem as he received yet another talk from his mother.
How changed Ahem is in comparison to his previous talks with his mum about Gopi. Whenever this occurred Ahem despised these discussions. On one occasion he felt nothing but contempt for Gopi with nani leaving and his mum not wanting her to leave MM. On another time, he was questioned on his upbringing and why anyone would want to let their wife get lost in a foreign land. In a recent time, with the tables turning, he challenged his mother's words and took full responsibility to helping Gopi to learn in the education track.
Today's talk was on what to expect when you're an expecting father. He had been given the licence to take care of his beloved wife's needs openly. She eased him into understanding Gopi better during these times and wants him to take the lead in caring for her. What better news for Ahem to hear. This cleared his mind of any doubts he had of holding back to be her husband.
Here begins the journey of becoming a husband and father-to-be.
With the field now wide open, just what will he do from here one?
