Guys... I am not sure how it works in India... but in South Africa when a Hindi girl gets married she returns to her mothers house the following day. After spending the week there she moves on to her in-laws place... We generally refer to this week as the bidaai. During this period her family use the opportunity to say goodbye to their little girl who has moved on in her life. And it is always a period of mixed emotions. Sadness for the girl who is no more and joy at the woman she has become.
I am going to put a spin on this custom and have a bidaai for Giaa (Just today and tomorrow though cos JDJ starts on Saturday!!!!)... after all she is our house girl who has now moved on into another phase of her life. So this thread is for all Giaa lovers to come and say their goodbyes. Share their good memories and loads of laughter and tears... For once the girl moves on she cannot return.
Giaa you were great! As Gopi I shared in your love, your joy, and your tears. It has been a journey filled with emotion and it is with great sadness that I see you leave.
But it is with even greater joy that I see you go! For I wish you nothing but the best in your new role and I hope that you go on to win JDJ and that your career in television takes you to even greater heights!
