Why Gia aka Gopi was target?

If a boss offers you a job and says you do it on a 3 year contract but you cant work anywhere else. This job will give you lots of fame, money and name and fans. But you cant work for anyone else. This is a great job, on a 3 year contract. And you take it because you're 18 and you see the fan-base of other actors and you want it. (Yes Giaa was 18 when she took it. and 17 when she auditioned). She was tempted by the offer (knowing that she was NOTHING like the character and is the complete opposite).

2 years later, a show on another channel says "come dance for us! You are crazy popular and you get to meet Karan, Madhuri and have loads of fun.. entire india will be watching you". She gets excited.

Now according to Giaa's version, she said SP and PH agreed to it. Which sounds ridiculous to me. SP is not the kind of bighouse that just says yes to this. They wouldve disagreed IMMEDIATELY. And they have power over the PH to a certain extent. So I cant believe that they said YES so willingly.

And if SP then proceeded to show Giaa the contract that she signed "which said don't work for anybody that is a rival to us unless we decide its okay". Do you think she's COMPLETELY justified in saying "THIS IS BS. YOU GUYS ARE SUFFOCATING ME!". Did she not sign the contract? I'm NOT anti-Giaa. I loved her. But the way people seem to make a hero of her, I have to think again.

Giaa said she hasn't taken part in a show in 2 years. So its okay to do it now. Hina Khan hasnt taken part in a reality show for 3 years. She was offered the same Jhalak. She had the same conditions put forth. She knew there was a contract and she signed it. She knew how broken the fans would be if she went ahead and did it, inturn getting her ousted from YRKKH. She said no.

Now I know Ragini and Parul will come up. Again, the contract WILL say "Can't agree to shows on rival channels until we say yes". When Ragini took part, SONY wasn't going great guns. And so maybe SP never took them as competition.

But think about Colours now. Balika Vadhu is going GREAT guns. Uttaran is picking up and is in the top 10. Madhubala just opened up with Dhrasti Dhami who commands one of the biggest fan-bases for an actress. And they have Jhalak - with the same Madhuri and Karan. And the show has Gurmeet (the hero with the biggest fanbase as of now). Do you not think this makes Colours a strong contender now?

Someone else had posted something saying "Isn't it great for those that see Giaa's dancing and they will watch her in Saathiya so that leads to higher TRPs for SP?". Okay then let me ask you this: "Since Giaa is the only competitor from SP, if the HUGE fan base of Saathiya and Giaa and SP viewers in general watch and support Jhalak (which they WILL), wouldnt that mean TRPs for Jhalak would skyrocket?" Think about that?

Honestly, I have nothing against Giaa but I'm sick of people making Giaa a hero and those who think logically are called names. Again, I'm NOT pro-SP. Just pointing out certain fallacies.
