No more Saathiya for me!

Thats it!!! i wont be watching SNS again!! Star Plus just committed a big, big mistake! You have a series which is pulling in millions of viewers worldwide and you sack one of the starsf the show... is that just being arrogant or just plain stupid????

SNS has won countless awards, best show, best ratings... and even Gia Manek has won so many awards... so instead of firing her for breach of contract, would it not have been better for the "big guns" to say to her, hang on a sec, youre in breach of your contract, we need to get things staright... since we are planning to end Saathiya in about 6 months (i heard that it would end about December) then why dont you wait 6 months or maybe we can work something out!!!

But no, they have ruined the show, the magic between Gia and Nazim was special, after 2 years of working together, it was great watching them!!! How the hell can you change Gopi and try and put it a poor double to try and act as her??? It was awful!!!

Then you get Kokila trying to get people to accept the change of actress... the pregnancy which we have been waiting for, all of a sudden comes up to keep the audience interested... Sorry guys, it didnt work!! I feel sorry for the new actress who has been brought in to fill Gia Maneks role... It just aint gonna work, because the chemistry is not there!!!

Most of my family who watch it, all said today that Saathiya is spoilt and none of them will be watching it!!!

ITS OVER FOR US TO, AS UK VIEWERS WE LOVED WATCHING STAR PLUS AND THE MAIN PROGRAM WE WATCHED WAS SAATHIYA BUT NOW I MIGHT EMAIL STAR PLUS AND CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION WITH THEM, BECAUSE TO BE HONEST IF THEY CAN DO THIS TO ONE OF THE LEADS THEY CAN DO IT TO MANY MORE. SO STAR PLUS IS GOING TO LOSE A VIEWER AND THIS VIEWER MIGHT GO STRAIGTH TO THEIR RIVALS TO SUPPORT GIA.

totally agree..frm now on i might just read written updates that too because i like the characters.no point in watching.. i mean todays epi totaly sucked.it was a horrible traumatic experience which is haunting me hours after watching the episode..one of my fav shows gone down the drain.its so horrible totally spoilt my summer vacation

It's a real shame true fans of he show feel this way and have been let down, our investment in the show is the viewership and their decisions in the last 24 hours have been based on stupid old fashioned out of touch rules. Star plus need to get into 2012 - Giaa is taking part in the Indian version of strictly come dancing a massive show here in the uk - celebrity's and actors take part then usually go back to their serial roles and cross channels/ networks with no problem - its seen by networks here of working well for both parties - the actor gets to do something new and the networks gain new followers and more viewers.

Me too...cant stand that new girl she in no way is Gopi vahu...i loved and watched Saathiya for Gohem and GiNa...but anymor cant just watch the show...i was soo happy yday when the pregnancy promo aired...but now all hopes are shattered...i hope SP suffers to the core and everyone should stop watching SP...Giaa pleas pleas pleas come back

Stopped watching it too :( I'm so upset. Gopi was one of my favourite characters in the show and no one can replace Giaa! The new actress just doesn't have that spark with Nazim. Star Plus has made a huge mistake by replacing her because they are losing so many viewers now. I don't get why they're so pissed @ her taking part in a dance competition on another channel. By going on that show, she'd gain fans & as a result their show's views would go up. Idiots. Huuuge mistake replacing her. The new actress just doesn't suit the role. Her voice sounds so fake and as if she's trying so hard. -_- & it's not fair how when Giaa was in the show, they had such boring tracks & now that she's gone, they give the pregnancy track to the new actress!! Abhi to Ahem aur Gopi ki love story shuru hi hui thi. :( BRING HER BACK!

I tried giving her a chance - got halfway through the episode and just couldn't take it anymore. :( Won't be watching it from now on. It's just torture.
