Ahem's course of love took a dramatic turn in one day.

Day started with him listening to his Gopi's melodious voice singing his favorite arti of her kanaji and ended with her winning the competition by singing about love and declaring why and how much she loves him.

Ahem no longer want to take a chance of hurting Gopi, even if the burning of the sari was accidental, he felt she would get upset and go quiet on him again, but the way she forgave him with a smile made him want to do more than just say sorry.

It was wonderful to see confident Ahem walk in the sari shop to buy her sari, although he was unsure he made sure he walked out with something for his wife.

For a man like Ahem to walk into a store that is full of woman and not walk out without what he intended tells a lot about his feelings for his wife.

When Gopi gave a simple answer to his question, he was floored by her response. Not only did she sing about what love means to her, how much love she loves him and how much trust she has in, but by risking herself for him, she just proved that the word she spoke to him on Holi about being unable to live without him were not just empty words, but by jumping into save him she proved this by her action also.

This a huge turning point for Ahem and Gopi, and from here things will only get better.
