The night moved into the day & yet Ahem did not get an opportunity to ask his wife for forgiveness as she kept to herself. He went to work & she went about her her work at home. But both their thoughts were related to each other. He thought about how to calm her & ask her forgivness & she was lost in the thoughts that he was in this marriage only for his mom's sake & out of responsibility !!!
As Nilesh & his parents settled down, his mom called out to Gopi to ask her to bring Anitha down, even before his mom could complete the sentence, Ahem was irritated that why was his mom asking her to bring Anitha. Other than guilt that her marriage broke because of him & concern for Anitha , Ahem has no other feelings for her. He wants to have nothing to do with her nor does he want his wife to anything. He just wants to go back to his life with just his wife & their love for each other !!! When his kaki asked Gopi to get the snacks & tea, he was fine with it !!! Gopi need not make her presence felt for Ahem because he feels her with his heart !!!
As Ahem saw Anitha falling down, he immediately went ahead to support her. As Anitha hugged him & cried, Ahem could not even get himself to hug her back to comfort her because he loves his wife from deep within in his heart. In his heart, mind & soul it is only just her & only she has any right on him, everyone else was an outsider. Did he think of his family, did he think of her to stop himself, no it is next to his breathing that he is Gopi's & only Gopi his wife matters to him. There were times in the past when Gopi out of hurt, pain hugged Ahem, even then Ahem never hugged her back because then he loved Anitha & he gave himself to her & only he wanted her to have rights on him, but latter as he got to know his wife, fell in love with her, it is only his wife who his heart accepts as his & has right on him !!! On his birthday , he hugged his wife for the 1st time & shared his love with her & felt her love for him !!!
Ahem is feeling guilty for Anitha's condition as he was the reason her marriage broke & again he had built her hopes as he called her as Nilesh !!! Out of concern he is there for her as a friend & if possible wants to lighten her sadness. In his heart , he his wife's husband, his Gopi's lover, her eternal companion.
Gopi saw her Ahemji immediately holding Anitha as she was about to fall. She saw her hugging him & crying her heart out & she saw her Ahemji almost hugging her back but restraining himself from hugging her. After hearing him agree to Anitha's questions the previous night, Gopi's thoughts were only about it. Her heart is pained that her Ahemji does not love her but she is even more hurt that because of responsibility he is away from his happiness, his love & she is responsible for it. As she saw him holding back himself from hugging Anitha, she did not see the love he had for, she saw how out of responsibility that he was holding himself back from hugging Anitha when he actually wanted to hug her.
Gopi had taken back her wedding vows only by words as her MIL had asked to do at the start of her wedding but in heart she still believed in those vows. But with each day, she hoped & had faith that there will come a day for her to fulfill all the vows which she had taken back. She hoped that one day her husband will love her & then her dream of love filled family will come true. Though she intially faced his hatred, as time passed, since he took responsibility of teaching her, she has seen him change & finally she felt their relationship move forward with love. But she hearing him say his heart's hidden answers with Anitha, she realised that her husband never loved her but only accepted because of his mom !!!
Today as Ahem & Anitha were together, she took the 1st Vow back by her heart as she took those few steps back, away from her husband. She took the vow back to be his friend & support him in life, as she did not step forward to share his burden of comforting Anitha. As for Gopi, it was always Ahem's happiness which mattered & matters. Even if it hurts her, even it pains her, even if it kills her, she always wants to see her husband happy & with every incident she is witnessing him being closer to Anitha, his past love !!! There is a small thought in her that maybe his happiness is with Anitha & every incident, his care & concern for her, his comparing her with Anitha, his agreeing to the questions by Anitha is fuelling her thoughts that yes, her Ahemji's happiness is only with Anitha !!!
In the past Ahem was aware as she took her vows back but this time, Gopi has taken her 1st Vow back silently & yet he has not realised. He is concerned about Anitha but at the same time he is also aware that he has hurt his wife. He thinks that is between a husband & wife & would work it out between them. But he does not know that his wife is hurt not because of his anger but because she thinks she has come in between his happiness. Will he be able to realise the hurt , the pain & doubt she is undergoing or will his thoughts be occupied by Anitha's concern that he does not realise when she had taken all her vows back by heart !!!
