Gopi's thoughts were completely in disray & she was trying to come in terms of the present. Her dreams, her hopes, her love all just had no more meaning to her. Yet she stood by her Ahemji more concerned about him than her own pain !!!
As her Devarji & her family decided to wish the couple on the stage, Gopi kept looking at her Ahemji with concern on how he would handle the immense pain he was undergoing. As they neared the couple, the pain of the reality that her husband still loves Anitha was breaking her yet she stood by her Ahemji. As her husband & Anita were facing each other she could no longer bear the hurt & turned away from her husband to hide her pain from everyone.
As Ahem neared Anitha on the stage his pain he felt was immense. He was aware of each step he took closer to her. As they stood next to the couple to wish them, he introduced Gopi as his wife to the bridegroom. He respects her immensely & cannot see anyone hurt her or disrespect her. Ahem's heart & soul knows & recognises her as just his. He is proud of her & feels at peace that she belongs to him. This is the truth which he knows subconciously but yet this is what he has not realised yet. This is the truth which is built in him his relationship with Gopi started to change & grow. But with the past in front of him what he did not realise is that in the pain he was undergoing of losing Anita & their dreams, he lost his present , his wife !!! He did not realise that his pain had distanced her from him as she is hurt after all she saw & witnessed that her husband still loves Anitha dearly & that she realised that she will never be his love.
The moment the bridegroom introduced Anita as his would be wife, that was the point Ahem finally accepted the fact that he & Anitha were no more together & they both belong to others. His heart realised the truth & he was ready to move on but yet still in some corner he still felt the pain of losing Anitha forever. He was slowly coming to terms that life has moved on, but what he had not realised is that his wife had also moved away from him. As he was cleaning the juice stains, though she wanted to help him, she was hesitant for she no longer felt she belonged to him, for she no longer felt his love for her, for she saw the reality that her husband still loves Anitha.
As Gopi handed over the juice tray to Rashi, she saw shadows reflecting out of the cloak room, she was confused who it could be. She only knew that some time back her Ahemji had gone to the cloak room to clean the juice stains. She just wondered who could it be in there.
Though Ahem stood in the same room with Anitha , he had already come in terms of his pain & he was not overwhelmed by her presence. He accepted the truth finally & he knew both had different directions to take ahead in life & started to walk out.
As everyone were speculating who was with the bride, Gopi saw the bridegroom open the door & she saw a man & a women in each other's arms on the bed. It took her few seconds for her to realise it was her Ahemji, her husband in whose arms was Anitha , his love. At that point her heart, her soul, her dreams & her confidence in him, in their love though never expressed & her belief that someday he will love her & be hers forever always, shattered into pieces. For a women as much as her husband's love is important so is his fidelity but today seeing him with Anitha in his arms broke her heart & belief. With this she finally realised that her Ahemji was & will always be Anitha's & she will never be his love !!!
As their married life begin & after the necklace she had ordered & after he knew she was a an uneducated person Ahem did not trust Gopi & always believed she tried to put an act for others to believe her. But latter on as he slowly understood her, he always trusted her & believed in her. The day she cried hugging him that she did not copy, he trusted her, the day she told her mamaji never lies, he trusted her to take her to her mamaji's house, the day she lay in the hospital bed with no hope, he trusted her to fight & comeback to him, the day he lost the kite competion because she pulled his hand, he trusted her that she had a reason for doing it. Today Ahem is innocent, yet what it looks to others is that he & the bride were in one another's arms, so will Gopi trust her Ahemji ?? Or will this incident be the final realisation for her that she had come in between two lovers who were separated because of her !!!
Has Ahem realised that Gopi had seen him...has he realised how deep a wound has this triggered in her to see someone else in her husband's arms ?? Will he assume that she anywayz knows him, her Ahemji & that she will trust him & stop himself from explaining it to her?? Will it even register in him that she as a wife is shattered by this & will need support or will the events which unfold & Anitha's happiness & pain occupy everything that he will forget about her & her feelings !!!
