There is no escaping her... I see her, feel her everywhere... It is either her presence or the excruciating pain of her absense... but it is always her. The only thing that my mind keeps track of... Is she here? Yes or No... No! Then where is she? At home... Why? Because this is the office... she is not "supposed" to be here... Right.
It is unbelievably strange... no matter what I do or where I am... I feel her... Like a forever present restlessness... A sense of panic... when she isn't around, I am restless... my entire soul aches for her... my eyes search for her. And when she is infront of me, I am restless... anxious of what to do, anxious to keep her there for as long as possible, scared that something will happen and she will just turn around and disappear... restless to search for things to talk to her, to touch her somehow. I find myself hatching scenarios to be around her... Search for reasons to talk to her. Does she notice? That it breaks my heart when she stiffens at my touch... is it her shyness or does she not like it?
What if she doesn't? Nah! She loves me... Right? Yes Ahem she loves you... She knows that I wait with baited breath just to see her look back at me... To see her raise her gaze to meet mine... How easily she does it... One look and he loses himself... She knows that all he wants when he comes back home is to taste anything made by her hands... no matter what it is... She could mix up the tea.. green or black and I wouldn't notice... It tastes of her to me.. Insane I know... But what is sane in my life anyway. Nothing else makes sense... Even the stuff my mom cooks makes me cringe sometimes... I can't imagine eating anything other than what she cooks...
Has she drugged me? Hypnotised me somehow? What has she done? And What must she be doing now? Working? Is she thinking of me? Does she think of me at all? Does she obsess about me as I obsess about her... Maybe she does, maybe she doesn't... But she is perfect at all the stuff she does... then maybe she doesn't... Cause if she did obsess that way I do, she wouldn't get anything done, like me... Cause I am not really doing anything except thinking about her. I have an empire to run and yet here I am, wondering what my plan will be in case she is busy and I have to get her to get me my tea in the bedroom ... Why does she have to work all the time anyway? You are my wife... Take care of me...How does it matter what happens to the rest of the world...
It is weird, that even now sitting here in my office, an important report open on another tab... I typing this. When did I start writing about my feelings... about Gopi. Cause that's all my feelings are these days, Gopi. Gopi. Gopi. I need her, I want her. There is no escaping her. Cause I love her.
