am glad you enjoyed it dear. I wanted to write a nonsense proposal for so long . I dint write the poem used it fro google. Yup update in some time.

thanks navya:-) hmmm yes the 2 children have to be pataofyed. Its usually difficult not to differentiate in such a situation.

Rashi spent one week house hunting how long could she live in a hotel? She found a fully furnished apartment which was really close to the modi house. The kids only demand was they wanted a bath tub and thankfully there was a huge one.

Rashi and the kids moved in and the next evening jigar decided it was time to pay them a visit. He texted her and she agreed but rashi called and explained andre nilesh exactly what time they should barge in. She just wanted to give jigar enough time with the kids.


Jigar was surprsised to see the house almost set. Rashi opened the door in jeans and a grey turtle neck and black spects.

He looked at the spects and raised his eyebrow 'age caught up with me modi. 'and giggled.

Come in she gestured the place was filled with loads of framed pictures on the walls . Jigar turned to see two cute gals entering in identical blue tshirts with the words 'power puff girls' written across it and shorts. The older one was holding the younger one s finger she smiled and he was shocked to see she dint have two teeth.


The younger one ran towards him and caught his legs 'dadda dadda ' . Rashi saw jigar taken aback and she explained 'she calls every man that so relax'

she picked ria in her arms and replyed 'no ria this is not dadda its jigar uncle. This is ria and this is aditi she said introducing both the kids '

jigar gave aditi a wrapped box which she opened in no time. 'mom mom look what jigar uncle got for me. He got colouring books for me. '


rashi looked at jigar and questioned 'aditi loves drawing and painting stuff! Looks like you made nilesh talk. ' while jigar countered 'no no i am not talking to him its just that i loved it when i was young '

rashi decided to leave the kids and jigar alone while she would make daliya for ria. Aditi was busy watching tom and jerry on tv while ria was sitting on jigar s lap and making all sorts of noises.

When rashi came in with the bowl jigar offered to feed ria. The moment jigar put it in her mouth she spit it on him .

'ria stop. When will you eat what we give you. Am sorry jigar she is like that its so difficult to make her eat. She spits everything . Its not just you' rashi pacified him.

If ria spitting on him was the way she would address him as jigar then he was more than ok with it. 'no rashi its oki. I will go and clean myself. 'aditi offered to show him the bathroom .

When he cleaned himself and came out he saw aditi was eating her dinner once she was done they played some ludo . 'aditi its time for bed'rashi ordered.

'mom pl mom just fifteen minutes more i am winning 'aditi pleaded.

Jigar thought its time to earn brownie points 'no dear early to bed early to rise makes little aditi healthy wealthy and wise . You need to sleep now'

aditi who had no option turned to her mom 'oki mom . But i want a princess good night story '

jigar grabbed the opportunity 'i will tell you one. That is if your mom does not have any problems '

rashi reasoned andre and nilesh would be here in half an hour so she agreed 'oki you do that . Ria needs a bath i will do that and you put aditi to sleep. '

jigar went in with the little girl and she put her head on his lap and demanded a story. So jigar started a story about a princess who fell in love with a pauper. When aditi was about to sleep she lifted her hands and smiled 'my mom always kisses me goodnight'

jigar kissed the gal s head it was a strange feeling to be trusted so much by a small kid. His heart swelled he wanted to protect this little gal who was so warm .


Once aditi went to sleep he found rashi in the bathroom with ria. the little kid was in the tub and she was enjoying herself. She kept splashing water and squealed in excitement.


Rashi was entirely wet so jigar offered help. 'you sure you want to try? She loves water she will have you wet in no time'

jigar replied 'yes if you help me i can try' jigar was shocked at the strength in ria s arms she splashed water on them and she would laugh.


Jigar started tickling the little girl and she splashed more water on him. Suddenly the door bell rang. Rashi asked him to open the door while she would dry ria and dress her.


Jigar was furious to see nilesh and andre at the door.

Nilesh exclaimed dramatically 'you here???'

'i just came to check on rashi if she had settled in 'jigar answered

'same pinch'nilesh answered sweetly and barged in screaming 'jerry what have you cooked for dinner?'

rashi came out with ria and answered 'no i have to cook. I ll whip up some pasta in no time but i ve to rock ria to sleep you know '
'jerry s famous pasta my absolute favourite lip smacking 'andre exclaimed 'i will help you 'he offered

jigar answered 'you go ahead and cook i have come here to spend time with the kids i will do that '

jigar sat on the sofa with ria in his arms and nilesh was given the duty to make some fruit salad. He could get used to this life rashi cooking in the kitchen he sitting with ria in front of the tv putting aditi to sleep. He had enjoyed himself immensely today and even nilesh s presence dint disturb him . He could imagine himself fitting into her world perfectly but could she fit in his? Could she wear sarees again get decked with jewellery, change herself to become more like the old rashi ?could the kids adjust with rashi and gaurav? Dont count your chickens before they hatch jigar she just agreed to give him a chance and nothing else.

Once ria had fallen asleep he tiptoed to the kitchen and gestured where should he put her to sleep .once rashi had put ria in bed along with aditi jigar told her 'am going back home' confusing everyone . 'are nt you staying for dinner? We cooked for you 'andre glared

rashi cursed herself idiot she wanted him to stay for dinner but she had invited andre and nilesh just to chaperone them. She dint know about jigar but the bathroom incident and office incident had made her realize she could not keep her hands off him. Her hormones would take over and she would make a fool of herself again which she dint want.

'oki i will see you till the door 'rashi offered 'jigar was near the lift when rashi offered''tomorrow one pm lunch?''

'only if that s a date'jigar smiled naughtily rashi blushed nodded her head 'pick me from your office'and banged the door shut.

Next morning rashi changed her outfit twelve times to andre s amusement 'am i looking fat in this?' 'my legs look hideous'

'no this colour makes me look ugly'and many more stupid comments. Andre questioned her 'why this huge fuss jerry? You are not 16 anymore' he laughed 'andre this is my first date ever. I have never been out on a date you know'rashi explained 'when we were married earlier i dint like him at all but after the misunderstanding were cleared ...' she blushed

'yeah i know you dint have time to go out always busy making out . Happens to everyone so now that you are an old lady on her first date enjoy yourself 'andre kissed her on her head ' i will keep the kids with me you just have a blast . You want to know the rules '

'what there are rules' rashi looked shocked 'no i just made them up '

1 be bold. Dress to kill
2 be confident never let your date think you are scared.
3 be confusing if your eyes tell him how much you want him make sure your body language tells him the opposite.
4 be unavailable .dont accept the next date on the same day.
5 be adventurous. Do what ever you feel like.

'do these rules work andre? You scared me now' andre replied 'never worked for me i just followed my heart. You do that as well'

jigar picked her up at one and was surprised to see her in a white sleeveless salwar kurta. She was alway s full of surprises he had expected her to wear formal clothes but he liked this .

'hey you look gorgeous 'jigar complimented 'you dont look bad either'she replied sweetly.


Lunch was really good.they had traditional gujarati food.it had been so long since rashi had eaten it and she enjoyed every bit of it. talked about old times good and bad. She told him about many of her kalakaris and then told him ' something was wrong with me i used to derive immense pleasure out of the adrenaline thrill. I just wanted some excitement you know. It was like there was an empty space inside me i tired filling it with all sort of things tried hurting everyone around me. Their pain gave me pleasure but that pleasure dint last for long i would want some more you know'

'something like people doing drugs or alcohol to get rid of that emptiness?'jigar asked 'you can say that.'

'lets go back now.'rashi got up after finishing they came out of the restaurant when jigar offered 'what will you do going back to office? Andre will explain the difference between magenta and purple let s have fun. Let s go bowling'

rashi dint want the date to end so she agreed. They spent the entire afternoon and evening playing ,rashi was intent on winning her game and she did. 'i cant believe am saying this but am hungry ' leaving jigar surprised . This was the first time she talked bout food 'oki let s go out for pizza. Nilesh ruined it the last time' rashi looked at him 'what did nilesh do?'

'he followed us you know and kept throwing stuff at me'jigar fumed.
