You are so right.. Aham and Gopi are leagues different from other leads on serials.. Maybe because their relationship has been built very close to real. After the hate, Aham did not fall in love with Gopi in a day or a week. He has fallen in love slowly and deeply and the journey was made beautiful by their characterization.

The other thing that makes them different is that both are introverts.. They are shy. They do not talk a lot but they have a great understanding and an amazing amount of love for each other..

Aham character development is one of the best I have seen. Starting from an egoistic, highly educated businessman, he has been slowly changing to become a great husband without losing his main characteristics.

He still is shy, he gets angry and is abrupt sometimes but he is basically a good man and an honest one at that.. The vulnerabilities of this confident person makes him very human and that is shown very beautifully. He feels awkward discussing personal things even with his family but loves them all unconditionally. He is not a happy bunny all the time, but is silent, strong and most of all reliable.,..

Well I can write on Aham and Gopi and Aham's relationship on and on.. But instead of seeing opposites attract, I think the concept of showing how two people who are very similar but from different backgrounds overcome prejudices and obstacles to become the soulmates that they are makes this Jodi the most endearing for me😛
