After reaching the mandir, Ahem was told that Gopi & Rashi did not reach the mandir & it was getting very late to start the pooja. He immediately called her to check where was she. Ahem did not hesitate even for a second to call her, with love comes the right one feels for the partner & with that right Ahem called & questioned her. Today as Ahem spoke to her, it was full of anxiety that she did not come yet & as he was talking to her, at one point he lowered his voice so that only she could hear & with concern he felt for her he told her mom was waiting for them !!! Ahem feels responsible towards his wife & wants to protect her from everything & everyone's ire even from his mom. He knows his mom loves Gopi dearly but at the same time she believes in discipline, he knows his mom would be upset with Gopi if she did not come on time & he did not want both the ladies in his life, especially his wife to feel bad.
As Ahem heard Gopi's voice, he realised there was something amiss & he had a doubt that maybe they were stuck in some problem & hence did not reach the mandir. On the day of being caught in school for cheating, Gopi was disturbed & was lost. As Ahem reached home, he saw her lost in thoughts & was about to cut her finger. He immediately stopped her & scolded her saying that since she was gawar, she will always remain so . At that point even after looking at her, Ahem could not see beyond her being an uneducated & unworthy person ! He did not see the pain she was undergoing due to the problem. He was latter told about the problem & he remained indifferent to it.
But the moment she cried on his shoulder, he trusted her, defended her & took up the responsibility of teaching her !! One the 1st day of returning back to school after the episode, Gopi was scared on how she would face her classmates & teachers. Her kaki recognised the problem & tried helping her but it did not calm Gopi. Ahem who overheard the conversation, latter as they were travelling together to her school, he spoke to her about believing in herself & since she did not copy, she should not be afraid of the world outside & built her confidence in facing the world with her head held high. He counselled & guided her but as an outsider !!! Ahem in the past though was concerned for Gopi & helped her, he maintained his distance from her & always treated her as an outsider but today he feels her as his & he wants to shield her from any problem which would even remotely touch her. As her husband & as her lover he has already taken up her responsibilty & today he asked her to share her problem with her !!! He wants her to be happy & always have a smile on her face which in turn flutters his heart !!!
