being gopi, she cant hold back long. she was happy b cos the day before he rudely switched off the lights but he kept it on for her and for her only. it is this thought which made her smile

I understand your words.. But I think you are forgetting one thing.. Gopi had her heart broken yes.. But it was never and is never her aim to harden herself against Aham. She is shattered and she is sad but she still loves him.. Maybe even more now because he gave her those moments of joy..

She was not trying to make it difficult for him.. It just happened. Her avoiding him was more to do with her sorrow than him actually. But now that he seems to be taking extra steps, she is unable to stop herself from giving again..

I understand what you are saying. We all know Gopi is soft hearted. She can never give a hard time to Ahamji consciously. But yeh dil naa maane. I want Ahamji to work hard. I want him to wonder. Why Gopi always had to give agni pariksha and work hard for his love. He has to do it too. I just don't feel there is a balance there. Yes, he loves her now, but he didn't have to put in too much effort to earn it, did he? Yes, he is doing all these nice things for her now, but that's all because he loves her now and he should be doing it. But those things are not hard to do when you love someone, are they. It is not painful for him. He has to have some heartache. He is gold for her right now, but he has to go through fire to become kundan for her.

i agree with u aris...i want ahem to sweat a little and for once make the running...and i agree about the imbalance too...its gopi all the time giving...just wish she asks for her rights at least once.. ahem has kind of taken her for granted until recently...he needs a push in the right direction...

Yes, my point exactly, Varshu. Even though Ahamji is doing everything possible to make her happy, I am not satisfied. He has given her so much pain. Has he had heartache due to uncertainty about her as she did? I am sorry, but he hasn't really proved himself completely that he is worthy of her.
