Gopi never thinks someone is acting with her or pretending... had she known the terms like acting and pretending then she would definitely have caught up with rashi's intentions,,,, the girls just sees what is shown to her ...

here Ahem said he forgot everything,,.gopi is sad and broken all those moments between them were shared when he was not in his senses... she assumes has been in senses he would not have done anything like that ... she thought he loved her during holi afternoon... but all her dreams shattered when he said he forgot...

she believes him to the letter T - so when Ahem said he forgot - she believes that he forgot... she will never think he is pretending or acting to forget

Or it could be that Gopi takes an active role in their relationship and starts creating situations that force Ahem to come close to her. Break a few of his shirt buttons and then sew it. Plan it so that she's drying her hair (looking pretty while at it) as he wakes up. Take out a tie one morning along with his clothes (Yes! I'm conniving). 😈

Or Koki could ask Ahem questions and force the boy to think.

And when we rear our heads a little due to some hope and happiness, they love to strike us down. Look at what happened on holi.
