I wonder why every other serial showed bhang consumption in the holi episodes.
Growing up, we never had bhang. It was considered to be bad. We used to make fun of people who were bhangis. Isn't it like marijuana? Is it really that prevalent in India during Holi? Why is it being showed in all the serials?
I know it creates some funny moments and loosens up inhibited people, so the CV's can use it for their own advantage, but I am surprised to see it being so prevalent among all the shows. It is a festival of colors, naach, jokes, and masti anyway. Can Holi not be enjoyed without bhang?
