When will Ahem repent?

now that he is missing gopi, I think its high time he should think about his abusive behaviour towards his wife in the past. He should recollect everything and repent. I want him to feel bad for his behaviour. HOpe CVs show this track soon before he expresses his love to Gopi.

That is really the million dollar question. I guess repentance is something most of us expect from Ahem. Though Gopi will never expect it..
Ahem is proud and till now he has had no thoughts about the past. But most times it looks like he wants to forget the past and just move forward. His every action from the education track has been to erase a bad memory and replacing it with a good one for Gopi. But the main problem I think is is ego and also the fact that he still considers that he was not wrong. Currently and over time Ahem has come to understand Gopi. He now knows that she is not a gold digger, she is harworking, Kind, family oriented etc..etc..
But what he did a year before, there were incidents associated to them. Ahem was often misled due to circumstances or some Kalaakaris. Hence I think even if he is in love, he will still not go back and look at his behavior because he considers he was right at that situation.
The only hope of repentance will be if the Kalaakaris come out.. At least a few like the necklace and the letter ones and maybe the cooker kand..
These three are the worst ones and when the truth comes out, Ahem will see how wrong he was. I prefer him falling in love and realizing it before the Kalaakaris come out because, otherwise we will always be in doubt.. Did the pity change to love? Is it only pity that made him accept her finally? Gopi deserves better.
It would be wonderful when Ahem realizes his love and then finds the truth. Then his repentance will be complete and so will his punishment..

Here's what I remember from my previous attempts.

I feel like Ahem will only repent after he realizes that he has fallen in love with Gopi. In love, he'll want to give her the stars and the moon, but that will make him question himself. It is not Gopi who changed, but it is him who has transitioned into a different person. If he had to fall in love with her, why didn't he fall in love sooner? After all, Gopi is the one who has stayed the same throughout. If he can now fall in love with this Gopi, why didn't he love that Gopi? They are the same person. I think this thought will drive him nuts. How could he treat her like scum? In fact, why did he treat her like scum? She'll be the person who will matter the most and for him to know that he's done her wrong many times in the past---it will be painful. In the meantime, I'm just waiting for Tuesday, not for a confession, but a revelation.

And I totally agree that it will be Ahem himself who will search for the answers and repent for the behavior in the past year. It will be difficult for this proud man to accept his mistake but he will do that and will also humble himself properly..

I dont expect a confession now..That will come in due time. Ahem is shy. He needs to first realize his love. Accept it and then confess it. I do not even expect a revelation by V'Day but it seems to be on the cards.. He will realize that he misses her and maybe is in love with his gawar wife very soon. Let us just see how that pans out...

You're right when you say he's a shy, but I was thinking about something a couple of days ago. I have this feeling that when all is well between Gohem, they'll be the "hugging couple"--always hugging for every trouble. You know how every couple has this signature way of dealing with issues (like holding hands, touching shoulder)--I feel like they'll always hug when they'll face problems together. I guess the funny part is that the "hugging couple" thing is so out of character for them. 🤣🤣🤣
