We have gone back to bits and pieces of scenes with Ahem. Today's scene lasted only a miniscule minute and a bit with Gopi.
We definitely need more Gohem scenes to make it worthwhile to keep us interested.
This scene begs some questions: Why did he stop midway and continue to ask her what happened?
I felt the reason he stopped midway is he knows his presence is causing her to cover her face from him, so he thought if he isn't in front of her face she will comfortably tell him what is wrong. I felt that was the reason he stopped short of coming to ask her, that question was asking what made you scream out and also what is the matter with you.
Why is he still wondering about is wrong with her?
With her not telling him, he thinks it's him, and his questioning himself what he has done to cause her to withdraw from him in this way.
Why did he not question her about her changed behaviour towards him? Why is he not taking a stand to find out? Why does he not have this fire in his belly to want to know why she is keeping away from him? What is stopping him?
I have two different possible reasons, one his afraid what the answer is going to be, is it she doesn't want to be with him any longer, has the fact he took on the household duties, that a woman does, lessened the respect she feels for him. So he is afraid of the answer, that's why he doesn't ask. This is one reason, but it could just be that he is under the same rock she is under, meaning the promise to Kokila to work, similarly Gopi is under that promise not to distract Aham from working, Aham knows if he goes to find out what's wrong with Gopi he won't be able to brush it off, he will have to get involved as a result his focus from work will again be less and he will focus on her and her worries.
Aham is hoping perhaps that the problem will go away on it's on, Gopi will talk to the women of the house his mum or kaki and she will be fine, when he comes back from work one of these days she will be the way she was before with him...someone else having sorted out the issue with her, I know we don't want the second reason, as our hero is behaving in this way, wanting someone else to deal with the issue, but I've often thought Aham's character is as close to any regular man as possible and they do this, when the wife has an issue, they hope it will go away or someone else will help sort it out with you.
