The competition is in Rashi's mind.. All Baa asked was to make something for the guests. It was Rashi who made it a competition and felt bad for losing it... 😊

I have no idea! But I think there shouldn't be best bahu competitions. Doesn't everyone hate being compared to their sister/brother or cousin, even neighbor's kids! Also she should have gave the money equally not give it to Gopi cause she is the eldest. That is just not fair. But the question is when will Rashi learn not to be greedy. That is her main problem which won't let her change. But Rashi didn't do any kalakaries yet and I hope she isn't planning too-__-

rashi will be greedy till the end.. its her basic behaviour.. it won't change quickly..

rashi didn't use the devrani word for long and now the american maji brought that up.. gopi u r jethani u take whatever u want and give the rest to devrani rashi.. is rashi begger or something? does devrani means that.. rashi didn't do any kalakari on gopi to make her food bad.. she just did what she felt right by making burgers.. but what was the need of all devrani jethani fiasco.. and its not good to gift someone like this..

Rashi.. 😃.. Again, this is how traditional families work. The American lady meant no harm. She just said that as per tradition she will give the money to the eldest Bahu who will then divide it with her other SILs. The tradition was put in place to actually making the bonding between the Bahu's stronger.
Imagine a house with 4 DILs. All women are from different families. It is the responsibility of the eldest to make sure that the family remains intact and does not fight for something as superfluous as money issues. So instead of giving money divided, it was given to the eldest and the families believed that a good elder Bahu will make the right decision when sharing.
That is what the lady did.. It was Rashi who made it a competition. She was the one who immediately jumped to money when her visit was mentioned.

It takes very little to make Rashi jealous and angry. She received a lot of gifts just on her birthday and a small thing like not receiving money as gift sets he off..
Plus she is not ever going ti be the Jethani in the house. She knew this when she married Jigar. Whether it is Gopi or any other girl, Ahem's wife will be the eldest DIL. In traditional families like the Modi's the eldest son and DIL have some privileges. This is because there are also responsibilities galore for the eldest.
Hence not just this time, in the coming years, at functions Gopi will be given the first honor, she will be the first one called and so on..
If Rashi makes this as a reason for getting back at Gopi, she will have to be angry, jealous all through the show.. And that is what os happening.

I hope she changes soon. No kalakari has been planned yet and I would be happy if rashi refuses to her mother for any more kalakari.
