Wonderful post Aish!😃

I agree,i really want Ahem to have flashbacks about his mis-treatment with Gopi, you know what,CV's should now give screen-time to Ahem and his inner thoughts just like most of the FF's and SS's on the forum do!😆

Jigar aswell,he needs more dialogue and screen-space anyway back to topic😉,Ahem has slowly realised and is still in the process of discovering Gopi,he knows she's simple and loves the people around her yet im surprised,he has never questioned her about well her past or anything that happened between them,He NEEDS to have flashbacks and look at the difference between what he thought Gopi was and what she really is!😳

Maybe Ahem shedding a few tears to better the effect! (Thats Yuks FF:Vahchan talking,i just read it again😆)

aish thats a sore point with a lot of us i think...ahem might have been angry at her in the begining...but now as he was the one who helped her read should he not have a flash back about the letter...and also about the necklace that kinjal ordered...he knows that gopi was not able to read or write then ...should he not wonder how she ordered it and signed for it...the same with gopi ...now that she can read why doesnt she take the damn letter and read it...that will clearly show her the true nature of raashi and urmi...

Oh yeah! I never thought of that. Why is she not reading it again... And realising that Ahem's writing is different?

Aish.. This may not the best of the answers or explanations but here is my take about that letter.

Well I think the first instinct when Gopi showed him the letter, he would have read it or at least given it a cursory glance getting in the summary. That is usually human instinct. Even though he did not write it and she said he did, the first thing his mind did on knowing the letter is to make her see that she had wrongly read it.. Remember by this time Ahem is already angry with Gopi.

So comes the next part when she tells him she cannot read. A hot blooded man with an anger that erupts and fumes, she slapped her.. (Very bad Mr. Modi..). He then went on to say he would never love her and loved Anitha and all that stuff. But his mind was set by then. Ahem did not care about the letter or who wrote it..

Ahem is a man who does not like to make mistakes. Now he would have realized at least in the corner of his brain that whatever the reason, he should not have raised a hand on a woman. But then the ego he has would have reasoned (very wrong I know...) that Gopi deserved it. He never apologized nor did he concern himself with her after that.
But again as we see Ahem today, I think he has buried all that somewhere where he will never be reminded of it again. He is a good man basically and what he did would be abhorrent to him. Hence the denial now that it ever happened. He does not want to remember.
Gopi as you know does not dwell on her Ahemji's faults. To her too, it was a traumatic night. If Ahem does not want to remember. Gopi has more reasons not to remember. That was the night her dreams came crashing down.. So the couple have now buried their past in the corners of their mind.
We all know that the past cannot be buried that long. It will come out and the trigger is the main thing here. I hoped that when Kinjal was in MB during the Rashi fiasco, she would do something to trigger that. But it did not happen.
So I guess we have to wait for another round of exposure to get Ahem thinking about the mistakes he has made with Gopi. Her accident was not enough to do that because he remembered the times they had been there for each other then. But what will trigger him to think of the times he wasn't there or when he was he was the reason for her tears?

I hated him when he slapped her so the accidental slap for me was karma. He needs to have some inner dialogue. They never show wat the men feel and yes jigar is included in it

its high time ahem starts thinking about his past deeds...
CVs can conveniently say, Ahem forgot about the letter...

But what about other times...
There was one episode, when gopi tries to keep some money from falling and put it back on the bed. Ahem comes to the room and then sees gopi with the money. He thinks she is trying to steal it... he throws all the money at her saying al the bad words in the world. and finally throws out gopi out of the room...very very rude scene. He did not even consider her as a human being. It was a slap on her character...Dont tell me he never ever gets any memory of these... Is he having an amnesia... 😉.. i am ready to look after him.

Btw, nyone remembers when this was aired?

I'm also all for tears from Ahem's eyes. Since CV's are showing us that ...He is learning to "forgive", "trust", "surrender" so he is on the right track. And I think it is the right time to show his introspective vulnerability, for that he shd brawl some real tears😭

Though he was experiencing increasing confusion, conflict, despair, madness in that phase ( thanks to his dear mom Koki) & that was so well portrayed by Ahem so CV's please let him show us his regret, remorse, helplessness & finally an apology to Gopi for all his wrong doing sp the letter & Necklace kalakari shd come out.

I definetly agree that as the time comes by when he realises what Gopi means to him in full context ...the revalations will tumble by...
For now he knows he cannot live without her (her accident) & he cares for her & wants to know her & wants her to make a decision regarding their relationship (current track)...so we will hopefully see him regret when they decide to move ahead in their relationship & thats when the past comeback to haunt him...making him realise that mayb he is not worth of her !!!
