Part Five
Haunted Nightmares
Doctor examine Gopi and comes out answering the entire family's question except for Mr. Ahem Modi (because he was burning with anger). He assures them everything is find.
Kokila: Than why did meri Gopi vahu fainted?
Doctor: Mrs. Modi, its maybe because of stress (that happens during the marriage moments and many other reasons. Just try to keep the atmosphere cheerful around her and nothing more. I'll subscribed some medication.. give it daily with warm milk or freshly squeezed juice.
Kokila nods her head, but still worried for her Gopi vahu.
~ Nothing isn't clear only blur, but you can see a person running in the jungle.. trying to save themselves, but suddenly the person falls backwards.. holding their stomach with blood covering its hand ~
Suddenly, Gopi jerk's up from her bed... looking here and there...
Kokila (who is sitting beside her Gopi vahu looked worried) "kya hua?"
Gopi realize she's in her room (on her husband's bed) she smile at her Maaji before laying down again on the bed.. holding her forehead (as if its spinning with many uncleared imagine of people than blood shown everyone).
Gopi scolds herself "its just a-bad dream" she tried closing her eyes, but the imagine keeps on coming deeper into her soul "who is that person and why was it running for its life" she asked herself before Maaji pats her into deep slumber (more like the medication effect) taken over Gopi's mind and body.
I've never seen Mom this much worried for anyone.. other than me. I just hate her. She's the one who decide to have the puja and now she is sleeping peacefully on my bed. My bed! How disgusting! I'll have to change everything from sheets to pillow case.
Ahem stop thinking about her... he scold himself and yet her eyes kept on questing him. (Yep, Gopi's eyes have started haunting him. Without doing anything Gopi is affecting Ahem badly). I need to stop thinking about her and focus on my new project I've gotten with Mr. Ranjeet Vardhan Singh.
Yes Ahem.. you should worry about your project not your so called wife Gopi. He talk himself into leaving Gopi's thoughts away and left for his office.
Ahem arrived at his office... everyone greets him with a smile, but one look from them - kept them shut and into working mode.
Tasha (Ahem's Secretory): I never understand.. why Ahem Sir is always in bad mood after his marriage? Maybe because his wife isn't satisfying his needs. Why should I care? If he married me than I would have done whatever he wants..
Ahem shouts: Tasha! Stop starring at me and pass me the file of Rajeet Vardhan Singh's Enterprise Group of Companies.
Tasha: Yes Sir!
Tasha disappear (within a second) and arrives back with the file.
Tasha: Here you go?
Ahem took the file and starts reading it without worrying about Tasha (because she know within a minute she'll have to take some notes) meaning dictation.
Around the evening, Gopi wakes up (feeling a-little better) and decide to take a shower (begin of her monologue)
I strip my clothes off, but made sure that I took my sari inside the bathroom or else Mr. Hubby wouldn't be able to keep his anger to himself without showering it on me.. I just hate his attitude toward me. He's just like Mami!
I turn on the shower and let the hot water relax me while my mind kept on thinking about those nightmares that keeps on reflecting in my sleep lately. I remember - just few days ago before my marriage the nightmares got to intense that I had to ask Rashi ben and she told me its nothing... just bad dreams... nothing more or less.. But I feel like something is hidden from me. What can that be? And who was that person in blood? Trying to tell me something whenever I look into the person's eyes. I just don't get what's happening to me? I want the end of these nightmares! I wonder who has the answers to my question and when will I get the answers?
I look upwards before closing my eyes (screen spilt opens) to a person who is taking off his shades and handing shaking a person "Welcome Mr. Ranjeet Vardhan Singh" (his face his shown and split with Gopi opening her eyes)
