Right so even though I doon't blame Kokila for her actions and can somewhat understand where she is comng form there are still going tobe aspects of her behaviour that I'm going to find a little bit overbearing.
We start where we left off on Saturday. I did rather feel for Kokila here, she didn't expect to be rebuffed by GoHem here (even if it was Ahem who did the rebuffing the two of them come as a pair these days.) She obviously has the best of intentions when offering to sit by Gopi - Gopi is still unwell and also she isn't completely aware of how much the relationship between GoHem has changed - she may have felt she was doing Ahem a favour?
It's good that Ahem felt abashed and slightly guilty at his response to his mum's offer - shows that he is finally gaining an awareness of other people's feelings. Gopi is also uncomfortable and uses the fact that she is thirsty to get Ahem out of his guilty thoughts.
Meanwhile Hetal asks Jigar to get her some water, but Koki decides she'll go get it as she needs to go to the washroom too.
Lovely GoHem interaction at the kiosk. Gopi praising Ahem for what was actually Rashi's idea initially - but we won't dwell. Ahem responding in a stable, normal way - I love it!! They seem like a normal couple!!
Now Kokila happens upon them and shocked faces all around!! I'm not sure why Koki has a go at them here, unless it's because she's still smarting from what Ahem said to her before but she was a little bit overreacting to seeing them here. It wasn't as if they were idling around a water cooler - they bought the bottle and were making their way back inside when they saw her. And she is out here for the same reason!! Not that she does buy the water for Hetal in the end! The three of them make their way back into the cinema, Ahem and Gopi sort of dawdling behind Koki, Koki then has a brainwave and sends GoHem to sit with the family while she and Parag and her can sit in seclusion!! Maybe Koki wants private time with Parag!!!
Ahem doesn't look pleased and Gopi is back to looking worried! Poor kids!! First date cut short!! Well serves Ahem right for inviting the whole family along!!
Why oh why oh why do I need to see Kurmila??? Or is it back to Urmila now?? We all knew Kinjal was the one who was going to win the lottery - the lesser of the two evils? A ridiculous dream sequence from Urmila here!! Can't be doing with it!! It's interesting that this is what Urmi thinks is going to happen!! All this is leading to is Urmila trying to get the money from Kinjal - by hook or by crook - I feel kalakaries are going to abound left, right and centre!!
Back at MM, the Modi's are back home. Baa has enjoyed the trip - the old lady done good on Saturday so I'm inclined to be nicer to her! Even if she is being a little pointed towards Koki!!
They're all acting as if they ran a marathon!! They went to the cinema and had a little evening out!!
And our Hetal is always there to either point out the obvious or echo someone else's sentiments, her husband is no better really!! Why ask Jigar? Does he look like he enjoyed it? Even Rashi realised that he didn't enjoy it!! She didn't have the best time either!!
Baa's teasing at Ahem was cute!! And Ahem was adorable too!!
As usual something important is happening the next day which means the ladies are going to be closeted in the kitchen!! Kokila reminds everyone of the prep needed to be done for Makar Sankranti? The working Modi Men disappear to do last minute office work, Koki made a face here - probably thinking about the fact that Parag doesn't contribute to the office work, but Parag does the important work of gettign the kites ready!!
Hetal tries to put off the laddoo making but Koki is having none of it!! Anyway how could we have a SNS episode without having at least one scene in the kitchen??
Exactly why does Hetal even bother giving her opinion? It doesn't take much for her to do whatever anybody else wants her to do. Koki tells Gopi to freshen up and come down into the kitchen.
Urmila walks into the house all dejected, which obviously makes Kinjal happy!! Urmila puts her off by saying the lottery will be announced tomorrow - even Kinjal is eager for the result!! Kinjal offers to check tomorrow and Urmi says hse'll do it herslef and tells Kinjal to make her tea. Urmila plots to steal Kinjal's lottery ticket but is foiled first by Dhaval arriving.
Gopi comes down to the kitchen to help, Koki "mmm"s at her. Hetal realises there is no flour adn calls for Meethi, and then remembers she sent her to the roof to bring down the clothes. All this just to get Hetal out of the kitchen so the Koki can have a tete a tete with Gopi.
Koki wants to know if Gopi is hiding anything from her and if she wants to tell her? A little menacing here!! I'll have to remember to use that approach at school!!
Gopi looks a little worried, and says there is something.
Koki asks her what it is to which Gopi says it's nothing much but is interrupted by Rashi shouting for Gopi!! Perfect!! Gopi gets to keep quiet and Rashi gets scolded for making unnecessary noise by Koki.
Rashi explains she needed Gopi's phone charger and asks her for it. Koki looks at her as if to say "typical!"
Koki shouts at her and says for such a little thing you were making so much noise, and this must mean that you talk like this to Gopi when I'm not around!! Shall we tell Koki that this is actually Rashi being niceish to Gopi?? She's been much worse in the past!!
Rashi makes an excuse and Hetal walks in to say an inane dialogue! "Today the whole house is gathered in the kitchen!" Seriously when aren't all you ladies in the kitchen???
Koki takes the opportunity to taunt Rashi again - it's nice to see!!
Gopi asks if she can go give Rashi the charger and Koki gives her permission.
This whole charger situation was just so that Gopi didn't tell Koki about the plan and so that Rashi could get shouted at.
Back at Urmi house she's still trying to get the ticket but this time foiled by Kinjal who has brought her tea for her, and also by Rashi who is ringing her. Kinjal notices her ticket at the mandir and takes it with her - leaving Urmila to curse her kismet and her kids!!
She rings Rashi back to shout at her. Rashi is confused. Urmila tells Rashi that Kinjal won the lottery. More Urshiness today!! The more Rashi become comfortable in MM the more she is turning into her old self. We all knew she hadn't reformed but she seems a hopeless case, kalakaries are second nature to her.
Back in GoHem's room, Gopi is absent mindedly walking out whilst Ahem is walking in and they collide slightly. I'll be honest to me it looked like he bumped into her!!
He asks her if she's hurt, she replies she's ok and then he tells her to pay attention - not in a horrible way but still I think it was his fault!!
Ahem sees Gopi in her thinking, worried mode and asks her if everything is ok. She replies that she thinks that they should tell Koki about their plan. Ahem asks why and Gopi explains about the kitchen scene, Ahem is slightly taken aback by this.

Lots of dynamics shown in today's episode!! I enjoyed it even if I had to bypass most of Urmila's nonsense!! Honestly I cannot bear her!
If it wasn't for GoHem I don't know what I would have done!!
