really embarrasing...

today i was watching sbb..with one of my friend who is not a viewer of saathiya...when the news abt saathiya...came i got really excited...and told her abt saathiya...and all my credits..went away..when kokila screamed to ahem...she was making fun of me saying that...the man(ahem) is not a small boy to scold him like that...and that too for dropping a kite...i did nt expect this from koki...how can she scold a 27 yr old son...for this???

Actually...he is not a kid...n if u will see Gopi was trying to save d pigeon which would have otherwise died if Ahem kite manja(thread) would have struck it.koki is caring that they lose the competition but not the life of the pigeon

What's fascinating about Aham and Kokila's relationship is his a total momma's boy and listens to her and she's always right, and she's a strong woman, so in a society where women's voice is weak, it's good to see Saathiya advocating a strong female character like Kokila, she bosses around her husband/son/brother in-law all the men in her life, only her own mother can keep her quiet.

I agree that it is really nice to see such a strong female character like Kokila on TV, in fact, her independence and strength was what made me love her in the first place! But these days I feel like it's getting a little too much! I liked her silent inquisition, when she knew everything that was going on and dealt with it in her very own way! I love her relationship with Ahem, and it's nice to see the respect and love he gives her, but I think sometimes Koki forgets that her son is no longer a child! When a guy gets married, he has to find space for his wife in his life and the mother is no longer the singular focus...that's a transition every MIL has to make, and I thought Koki was doing an absolutely fabulous job, what with actually trying to get Ahem to accept Gopi while the rest of the saas on Indian TV are scheming to separate their son and DIL! So I honestly don't understand what changed, why are the CVs going backwards with such a fantastic character? Are they suffering from selective amnesia or something that is making them forget the core of her character?

I really, really hope it's the first one! GoHem has come a longgg way since last year and if it's the second option then it's like a mirror of last year when he was furious at her for making him lose against Dhawal! The CVs are showing how things have improved drastically between them, so I sure we'll actually see him support her, because she moved him for the right reasons, and I hope he realizes that!
And honestly if I was in his place and my mom scolded me like that in front of everyone for such a small thing, I would be pissed as hell! There is something called dignity, and you don't go around yelling at your 27 year old son for being incompetent in front of the whole neighborhood!
