i m not a great analyser, just pointing out few things i felt
part one: on entering their house he smiles at gopi, he felt relived to see her standing there(and he thinks this is duty and guilt, the fellow needs to see dr. joshi)😉
part two: after opening the gift box, though he is shocked at first, his face softens. he is actually pleased by the gift. (i never thought i will see the day when aham modi was pleased to see a gift given by his wife)😍
part three: he eagerly walks to see her reaction at the dining table. he is stumped when she tells him that she is doing work sitting and not straining herself. he collects himself and questions her about the gift. next he is shocked that his wife really had courage to talk about a gift in the presence of his mother🤣
he looked like a child caught stealing cookies or playing his fav video game during his exams
part four: he cant belive that some one had given him a gift (kanjoos kanika, only if you gift other, they will give a gift back) so he fakes his anger and tells gopi: i never expected this from you. you could have told me. (what mr. modi did you want your wife to say i love you)
after all this his wife dear is not able to understand his comment. but puts him in his place.
he is totally disappointed that the gift is not for him. to think that gopi did not see him in that sense is a blow to him.
when his wife talks of returning the gift,(gopi understand you hubby, after all he had got his first gift, how can he part ways.)
okay mr. modi, it is time to up your seducing skills and treat your wife to your love. no use in hidding that you have fallen for her. make a move before it is too late.
