Ahem comes into the room looking at his cell, he senses she is not there even before lifting his head...he looks for her in the room at the place where she has been recovering for the last few days...on the bed...has he gotten into the habit of seeing her when ever he enters their room...Now that she is gotten better & will not stay in the room as much as he wants to ..how will it effect him...what will be his reasons to keep her there...
When he heard the mug falling in the bathroom, he realised that she was there & was worried if she was fine !!! He went to towards the bathroom & was about to knock when she opened the door...he did not know what to say & she was also suprised to see him out there...he asked her what was the sound & if she was fine...she answered him that she was fine & because of weekness & since one of her hand is still bandaged she could not wash her hair...the moment she said weakness he was worried...looking at him worried she put him at ease saying she was fine...but she wanted to wash her hair...when he had asked her to check with meethi...she explained that everyone else were busy...that got him into thinking & he immediately put his plan into action...he moved his sofa bed to the centre of the room & asked her to sit...as she was hesitant to sit as she did not know what he was doing...he made her sit on the sofa & vanished into the bathroom...after few mins he walked out with a bucket of water & a towel...Not knowing what he was doing...& she asked him...he looked at her with a determination which said why are you asking me...Im washing your hair !!!!
In the past when she wanted to study initially he did not support her...he never bothered about how she was & what she was doing...he switched off the lights when she was still studying... then came the first time he supported her wish to get educated...& then her wish of going to mama's house & the her wish of going to the goons...Today also her simple wish of washing her hair got him into act immediately...it did not bother him what it was...it was as simple as it is her wish...so it will be his command !!!
Is this out of guilt & responsibility...no it is not...because if it was he would have told her that she could wait for one of the women of the house to return or he himself would have arranged someone to do this job...but he did not do that...instead he jumped immediately to take care of her himself !!!! for him she is his wife & he is hers...& as her husband he realises that he needs to take care of her needs whatever it may be !!! With this he has moved a little further in claiming his stand in their relationship...To the outside world he may be a stern man whose needs are looked after by his wife...but with in the walls of their room she rules his heart !!!
