Ahem this is thr 3rd time you have called in the last 30mins you left to the airport. I will give the medicine to Gopi on time. Once you reach Delhi, call & let me know. Kokilla shook her head & she replaced the phone on the hooker. What does Ahem think, that I will leave Gopi Vahu all alone in this state. He is being impossible these days...just the other day, when he came home after work & saw Gopi trying walk outside their room he blasted Gopi & then lifted her & took her into their room.
Turning around she smiled that finally Ahem has realised what Gopi means to him. The accident though should have been avoided 4 weeks back has infact putout the feelings Ahem has for her Gopi vahu. Those few dark hours were the hours he looked like he lost his life when Gopi did not respond to the treatment. From the moment she had opened her eyes to till 1/2 hr back Ahem was always with Gopi taking care of her. Initially he never left Gopi alone except for the time when he had to mandatorly be in the office, else he always worked from home. If it had to do anything with Gopi everyone had to go thru him her eating, her medicines, her rest...
The day 2 weeks back as a mother was her happiest day. Her Vahu had tears in her eyes but not because of sadness but happiness. That day Ahem suprised everyone by bringing Gopi to the mandir downstairs, else everyday Gopi would do her pooja in her room. After the Pooja, as everyone was moving towards the dining area when mota bhabhi saw that Gopi's maang was without Sindoor & told Rashi to bring the thali so that she can fill Gopi's maang with sindoor. By the time mota bhabi could move forward near Gopi, Ahem took the sindoor from the Thaali in Rashi's & filled Gopi's maang.
But the fact reality was that both her son & Vahu need to work on their feelings & express it each other else their relationship would not move forward. She knew that her son was having a tough time in admitting what his heart was saying & her Vahu is coming to terms with the new Ahem but the past is not allowing her to become comfortable with him. As a mother to both she was lost on how to get both her children open upto each other... thats when Mota bhai mentioned about the new project in Delhi y'day, which they were bidding needed Ahem & Jigar to be there for the entire process of finalising the project if they win the bid for 2 weeks starting tommorow she was happy. This was the opportunity she had to see if her Son & Vahu will infact express their feelings to each other !!!
She knew that Ahem will turn down on going & he did that when he came down for dinner after Gopi's dinner. He mentioned that with Gopi's current condition that he will not be travelling anywhere even for a day. Kokilla then knew that it was the time she had to put her feet down. She turned to Ahem & told him that work is very important & that as a family she is there to take care of Gopi. Ahem had become quite but after dinner he walked into her room telling her that he is not planning to go to Delhi as Gopi's check-up was also scheduled. Ahem havent I told you that I & the rest of the family are there for looking after Gopi Vahu. What has happened to you? If it was not important Mota bhai would not have mentioned it . So it is done, you will have to ensure that we win the project for the Modi Industries. But Mom Ahem interrupted,Jigar will handle all of it. No Ahem, Jigar will need support & you will have to guide him as you are experienced than him. We cannot let Modi Industries loose out on projects. It is final that you will be going aong with Jigar. Mota bhai has confirmed that you will be leaving tomorrow evening & the tickets are done. She saw Ahem was about to argue & then left to his room with a sullen face. She had to act tough in this situation.
Today after the morning Arti was done, Ahem had been explaining me on how to take care of Gopi about her food, medicines, when to wake her up, doctor's appointment. Till about 1/2 he back at every opportunity he had reminded how to take care of Gopi & now he kept on calling. This was the test for both her son & Vahu. With distance between them & with a crucial project will her son forget about her Vahu. If he loves & cares for his wife, he will still be there for her even while everything is going on...even if he is in a far off location. This distance will also help him realise his actual feelings & pin it down. As for her Vahu, it will help her see the difference in her son & will also give her time to think & work on her relationship...
