So what did the 3 flashbacks mean for Aham yesterday?

This is my take, but what did others feel was happening with him.

The first flashback today, the wedding night he walking in, separating the flowers and lying down on the bed facing the other way, not even to take the time to tell her that he wouldn't touch her as the marriage wasn't his choice, at least inform the girl what was happening internally, what his thinking he didn't bother, he just turned away and switched off the light, why he thought of that (my personal opinion) is because he was feeling he took her for granted, whilst she was sitting and waiting for him to join her on the bed on their wedding night he walked in and acted like she wasn't there that nothing had changed in his life after being married.

The second flashback of the dandiya competition which they won, with that dance again he needed to be cajoled to do it by his mother, he didn't want to it was just to uphold the Modi's honour and for the mother's honour who had entered a wager with Savita behn, he couldn't let the mother loose face in front of the community and not dance, and he was again regretting the fact that Gopi wholeheartedly took part smiling the whole time with him, looking at him so sweetly.

The third flashback is of Gopi nursing him after his fight, his hurts she took care of them with dettol and ointment and she was feeling his pain with him as she took care of him, similarly with him he is distraught at his inability to help her now, but his also feeling some of her pain.

I loved Aham's flashbacks and his tense behaviour, he lost his cool against the hospital worker, and had to be calmed by three people, but I loved him for just standing outside the operation room, looking through the blinds (really sweet moment there) and when the doors opened and he saw her and talked to her Gopi and she responded Ahemji, I really loved loved that scene, then they played the lalala of pain, then the flashbacks afterwards he said softly get better quickly Gopi (beautiful scene).

Nice take Nafs.

I must admit that Ahams flashbacks didn't do anything for me. I felt that better scenes could have been chosen. And it should have been a flashback from him alone and not Gopi included.

It was also difficult for me to figure out exactly why he was having those particular flashbacks.

Am hoping when I watch Dhruvie's sub-titled epi in a few minutes I will maybe make something better out of it.

Yeah Nafisa I agree...

The wedding night was the night of their life together for the 1st time...but he never even acknowldged that she was there...that was the day when the foundation for their life together had to be built but he did not...she had dreams which she wanted to share...he lost an opportunity to build that life with her...today he is silently begging her to give him one opportunity to make up for all those times !!!!

She cared for him even after what all he has done to her...he had hurted her even after that when he came home wounded, she was there for him...his pain was seen in her eyes...

Today he needs her more than his life...and thats the silient prayer he said --Tumhe jaldi hi tik honahi padega !!!!

While all he had sad memories which he created, Gopi was remembering the good times she had with him...the dance they performed ...

according to me the flashback signify in 3 parts

Ahem:

He rememberd his first night where he came straight and slept without not even thinking about her.

This was the first insult he throwed at her face and ignored her without any of her fault, hurting her.

He destroyed a very special moment for a girl in her life, which he cant take it back

THis is the first hurt he gave her...

SO it signifies that Ahem was remembering the bad times he spent with her, and regretting it.

Gopi:

gopi was remembering the good time, her first coming close together and recognizzing as a couple in the public, her support for her, her win for her family, her maajis forgiveness.

the day was so special for her and a grand day in her life...

she was feeling that she was gooing far away from him, so she was remembering the cherished moments..thinking she have a hearty content life.

Ahem:

He remembered her care now...even though he hurted her, she always cared for him, looked after him, but he instead of looking after her when she trusted him, he left her all alone in the middle of the sea to tend herself

this was the guilt for his behaviiour.

I agree with nafisa, navyab and shaina the scenes used for the flashback were good. It showed their differences, their life, the pains and joys. Properly everyone will have a different opinion on which scene to show because everyone has other scenes, which are most important to them and they wished were shown but I quite like the ones shown.
