That got her thinking and as he made up that food poisoning story, she was eating the mithai and looking at him, daring him to come to her and stop her from doing that, did you see the way she was looking at him, she remembered that Parag had said she should avoid all mithai because of the food poisoning, her stomach is still sensitive, but she did it anyway because she wanted to see his reaction, will he come and stop her and therefore prove to her that he still cares what she does and doesn't want her to get into trouble with Kokila and other family members.

Initially from that mithai scene I thought she did it absent mindedly because she was in husband worries but when I watched it 6 times now, I think the reason behind was to check if he does care about her or he hates her now, check his reaction when Kokila is blasting her, his feeling guilty, look at his expression, it's not an angry face at her behaviour it's one of guilt that he could have stopped her but chose not to so she could be fried by Kokila.

It's complicated his feelings for her now, he loves her still, but doesn't want her to know he does, like when he thought she genuinely wanted to kill herself, it sort of proves she cares about him and doesn't want their marriage end, he completely softened, but hardened again when he found out about the sugar. To me his waiting for a miracle to show that Rashi is not all as bad as his thinking.

By Rashi packing her bags she thinks fine he hates me, he allowed Kokila to blast me and that wouldn't have happened in the past when he was so much in love with me, he used to do some of her chores remember (oil in the mandir lamp, Gopi did it on the first night, but the following night she jerked up from sleep and he reassured her, he had gone to put the oil in the lamp so it didn't go off). So she doesn't realise that what Jigar requires of her now is for her to be good and forget all this manipulation, blackmail, and other kalakaries, then only will he soften again.

She's still very much a child to realise this.

yeah i think she thinks that if he doesn't care for her.. she too is not caring for him or his families.. or maybe she want to know if he will really throw her out and embarass her in front of all..
