I just thought i might as well discuss this with my forum friends. It has been in my mind for quiet a while now.
Okay, here i go. SNS make up artists seem to have a fascination for blushes. 😆 Most of the time if you look at Rashi (which I guess is kinda hard to avoid, she and her mom get maximum screen time) her blush is too much. Too pink. It doesn't look natural. Yes, it is true that for blush to be visible on camera, you need to apply more than u normally would but this is ridiculous. Sometimes u can see it on Gopi's face too but not too often.
Now Mr. Ahem Modi. The SNS makeup artist definitely have done a gr8 job on his looks and hair but his makeup sometimes looks weird. I mean I particularly remember the episode feat Stanley , the one in which Gohem and Raji went to mandir together. Well, in that episode Ahem's lips were dark blue, even some part of his face were tinged blue. It looked like either he got bitten by a snake or he was shoved and kept in a freezer before the shot. I know that makeup artists use blue on men to bring a masculine look by mimicking the just after shave look but Ahem looked frost bitten.
Another one is eye makeup. I think they should experiment with eye makeup. For example, they can use different eye looks for special occasions. Nothing too over the top but maybe simple smokey looks or cut crease type. That would enhance the eyes more. Especially on Gopi. Okay, maybe Gopi doesn't know how to do it but Rashi definitely can. Don't get me started on Kinjal's eye makeup. Did u notice the neon pink shadow painted on her eyelids? OMG! I noticed this on other episodes also. But only in the previous episode she was looking gorgeous. That day my suspicion that SNS makeup artists can't use more than one eye-shadow color vanished. Now they are back to square one again.
