A couple of short scenes but they were packed with love and affection from Ahem to Gopi.
Ahem wanted only one thing to have Gopi dressed up at the the Navratri celebrations in his saree. His rampant complaints and fake feeling of being unwell were all to build up an excuse to stay at home with her. Upon hearing that she is going, he quickly changed his decision and wanted his clothes to change. Thereafter he very calmly and softly spoken to her in his husband voice for her to also get ready. He left her feeling completely confused and baffled. He was very pleased with this news but kept his smile to himself when he turned away from her. You could hear his inner voice loudly saying YES.
He was elated to know that she was going and that she will be wearing his saree. He felt that he was finally winning her over. He was having what he wanted. He was looking forward to a great night out with her.
His entry and walk at the Navratri celebrations shown how proud a husband he felt with his wife following in tow. As the night wore on he was in earshot when he heard the girls praising her saree. It seemed he excused himself to listen on to her response as he did not want to be interrupted at all. He was satisfied to hear her voicing to them that he bought it for her. When Maltiben called him and praised him not only for his selection of saree but also the selection of his wife, these words confirmed his thoughts too. He was simply over the moon inwardly. His inner voice screamed YES again.
This second night is not over but other issues are brewing with Rashi and Kokila. Where will this lead to with Ahem and his moments with her? Will this hamper his state of mind?
