I agree with Traxy that he is not in love with Gopi but his an insensitive person, the CV's are trying slowly slowly to make him sensitive to Gopi, previously only his mum was in his heart, his allowing her in yes, but very very slowly.

I did think the ulterior motive of educating her was divorce, it's a serial mate, they need to have a lot of drama to keep people glued, the love track will happen, just not so quickly, it will happen over a year. But Aham is not going to realise in time that Gopi means so much to him, that he has made a place for her in his heart. He will separate them but that's good because wants Gopi is given this slap by Aham, she won't let him in easily again, he will have to grovel and put aside his ego to win her back.

perhaps not, I think they will be a year of Aham discovering his love for Gopi, supporting her and getting to know about Rashi and Urmila's deeds then he will declare his love, as I have just had a thought now, that the CV's don't want to change Gopi, they want her innocent and sweet forever, if she leaves the Modi's and sees the outside world she looses some innocence and becomes strong she will return to Aham different, and they are not going to take the story in that direction, them and the rest of the viewers like Gopi being this innocent character.

Your points for day 5 are spot on Swasthi! I also felt when Gopi brought the tea in and put her pallu on her head Ahem did not appear to be as annoyed with her actions as he has been in the past. Maybe he sees this as an indicator that Gopi is aware of his presence and likes it. Then again he may be thinking that this is one thing he wants to change soon.

In my view a year is too long to discover a partner. I have copied my response to a question from the MOTW post regarding this. This is my take on it.

At present there are five days remaining. We are still on day 5 and we are anticipating better things in the later part of this day, following the recent video segment posted. The general thinking is that should things turn for the better it usually happens mid way to four fifths of the way. Even though he still looks distant with Gopi the gap for him getting closer to her is closing in.

As we have determined that he is complicated, unpredictable and hard to read we know that it will take something extraordinary for Gopi to do outside her normal self to get him to react to her in a positive light. This is exactly what has happened on day 5, she runs out of their room leaving him wondering what happened.

His declaration of his love in the ten days may be something that can take both of them to the next stage in their relationship, either him telling her that there is no need to wear the pallu or him hugging her or the remote possibility of him letting her sleep on his bed.

What we are confident about is, without a shadow of a doubt, Ahem is gradually falling in love with his lovely wife.
