hope so, he shouted at her when the masterji left because of Gopi doing housework, so now he should stand up to his mum for his wife to study in peace.

If he does stand up to his mum this will be the first for Ahem. He was unable to do it for Anita when she asked him to talk to his mum.

Having said this, Koki did tell him that Gopi is his responsibility so he may speak up for Gopi.

Koki will have narrowed that ever widening gap (as Nani had put it) however she will be concerned about here diminishing control of Gopi.

i don't know about rescuing gopi but i think he might support her in some way. which indirectly means saving her i guess. but he should feel happy that she is doing housework as well as homework.
