You know what though, because of the pleats and all that, I'm thinking it's that South Indian style sari...where there are two lost of material. One bit of material is used to do the pleating and the other bit of material is used as a pallu.

That trend is in the mainstream nowadays.

I have notice this too... I usally love rashi sari ... they are so pretty , but lately they looked different

It is not a saree but a lehenga or a half saree where the chunri is worn in usual saree kinda way as Rucha said she didn't want to wear it in gujju style..
She pins the bottom part of the lehenga to make it look like a fish-cut lehenga probably to show off her thin figure - I am guessing...she is thin and she wears good accessories
She said she decides on the way she dresses but I think she does not have a choice on the dress she wears...they have become gaudy these days. Maybe she is given like that as she is a vamp. Gopi's are all always simple right down to her bindi and jewelery...
