Why is SNS #1 show on TV?

Surprisingly even if we dont like the Kalakariyans being shown on this serial this show is #1? How come? What's so special about it that ppl have made it so popular & love ot watch it? Sometimes it feels like no one is bothered to watch it but they just leave the TV on and do their house chores instead and if GoHem come on screen they might get a little excited.
Dont ppl get annoyed watching this non-sense and waste their wonderful time? What bout the writers? What are they eating that is making them to think this non-sense and show us? Someone pls explain.
As with others we'll wait till the 300th epi, if any improvement then its all good, otherwise...abhi kya bolu...

Rimi, u should put an option as 'Confused' coz m just clueless seeing TRP charts for last so many weeks.
How can a show, where story between leads hasnt improved yet, kalakariyas in al epis n al sort of non sense storyline, can be at #1

can anyone tel me why is it so?

The main attraction of the serial is Koki-rashi and Urmila-Kinjal war of wits. And its shown in a very light hearted comic manner. Gopi is lead just in name.

Other starplus drama serials are getting slower. They are not very watchable anymore. People still see hope in SNS.
