Kokila thought back to all the major events that caused a break between Gopi and Ahem. The laptop, the slapping

But not once did she think back to the times that there was a fight because of her

Like the jewellery incident, when Ahem asks her to take off the jewellery but it's Gopi's punishment
That day Kokila even taunted Gopi saying that she wants to drive a wedge between Mother and son, When Gopi tried to defend herself, Ahem scolded her and told her to never talk back to his mother. Then Kokila said that Gopi is shedding tears to try and melt his heart.
The poor girl, everytime she opened her mouth one or the other would scold her.

Then the time where Ahem was trying to release his cuff button, Gopi went up to release the button, but Kokila stepped in front and did it for him, then smirked at Gopi. Showing her dominance over the poor girl in her son's heart

She didn't think back to her own previous faults and how she is also responsible for driving them apart. She needs to realize that this thing is her fault too

But I'm glad that atleast now she'll take a proactive role in brining them together

but on that time she thinks that they have relationship of husband and wife. By this things she want to show her that she still have preference over her in her son life. but at time she realise that aham and gopi do not have any relationship and how aham behaved wid her. she always tried to protect her and even sometime she show her preference towards her than her own children.

It doesn't matter because these things managed to drive the wedge in there

She had to realize that she is an equal contributer to this whole fiasco.
She can't just wash her hands off the responsibility of her actions.

Ahe needs to see the error of her ways too, only when will she be able to move on and really help Gopi and Ahem

i agree but, Koki has changed since then. In the start it was more like Koki wanted a slave and didn't want a husband wife relationship between them. Call it arrogance or mother's nervous behavior. But the Koki today is different in my opinion, she loves Gopi more then anyone I think, even her own children. She cares when she is ill or hurt, she yells at her for her good (sometimes not), she is proud of her and she wants Ahem to respect her. She doesn't want her to leave, she wants Gohem together, she smiles when they are doing sweet things (the few times) So the mentality has changed.

what ever she has done it was her past but now attitude and behavior is totally change.now she has softness for gopi. forget what was her past look at her presence

I know that Koki loves Gopi now. There's no doubt about it.
It was clear on the day Gopi came back and Ahem was about to shout at her, but Koki came in the middle and scolded Ahem instead

All Im saying is that she needs to awknowledge that she made mistakes int he past as well. Mistakes that have brought things to where they are now.
And she needs to awknowledge them

Because if she doesn't she might repeat them

HER mom nani open the eyes of koki now she understand what she done wrong with gopi she do pachtatap and realise badly and now she sought out everything between ahem and gopi...

Agree with everyone's views.

But the problem with relationships is that they are very fragile & break easily, especially a husband-wife relation. Mending those relations is a very long & arduous task, when here it has not been created in the first place.

And if Koki manages to accept her contribution in the mess that GoHem relation is at the moment, then it'll be a major step forward. Very few strong people can admit to being wrong.

Also, I feel, Koki is a person for whom it is important that she always appear good in her son's eyes. As far as I seen, she never corrects ahem when he's been rude to his own father (his attitude) which I feel is totally wrong. But that's another story.

Another point, what's the use of loving someone when you have wrecked that very person's happiness in every way possible (I'm saying this theoretically).

Yes koki, has committed mistakes. Most of the time in the initial days a MIL is always scared of losing her place in her son's life. Koki afterwards has favoured Gopi over her own children. Many times Gopi was getting scoldings was because rashi was the main culprit behind it. Koki with her smartness had figured out the mischief maker. It's Gopi who's blinded by her love for Rashi & her Mami. Mil is not the main factor in a marriage. I draw a line at an educated boy &sucessful businessman like Ahem who has not treated his wife in a human way. You might not like a person but that doesn't give u the right to treat her like an animal.
