I would have to agree with Nafisa, I was thinking along the same line today, but I think he also felt guilty when Jigar said about expressing love with flowers, he might of had a brief flashback to room decorating incident and how he had reacted, that's why he stopped Jigar from saying anything and got mad, I think the coming home to get file was just an excuse, he probably rushed home to see her because he felt guilty either that or he really hates all the love business, and I am just reading too much into it.
Shilpa you have raised so many points in your brief little paragraph.
He felt guilty with flowers gift as he might have flashback to room decorated with flowers by Gopi, plausible as he is bound to fall in love with her eventually (however in his mind he gets angry at the site of her, will all this passion turn to hate???), but i'm more inclined to say his not sensitive in character, his arrogant and quick tempered normally.
I think he really needed that file for work, but subconsciously he trusts his mother made a right choice for him with Gopi, this is the reason he gave the Vachan really quickly, no argument yesterday, he trusts Kokila more than he trusts himself all the time.
I think his an extremely patient person, he observes and watches, he explodes with anger (on Gopi only, because he knows she won't retaliate) but with everyone else he is obedient little boy, you could see him at the table, when Naani told Gopi to serve him breakfast (Aham gritted his teeth😡), again when she was blocking his path (twice) his nostrils flaring and then the GopiJi remark came out, so he didn't say like he normally would, i told you this is for Naani's benefit don't keep following me in here i don't want to see your face frequently, he took control of his temper and just gave her the right of way and called her GopiJi.
So i think he does get angry with the mere sight of her, but that hate will turn to passion later. Thin line between love and hate.
