Based on Hindu Mythology

In Sati Yug, when truth and goodness was prevalent as if walking on its all four legs, it was satyagrah against Aagrah, which was rarely there.
In Treta Yug, when evil started raising its head and Satya was crippled in one leg, atleast a righteous protest against the evil was started, but the protestor was still protesting within limits of righteousness
In Dwapar yug, when evil was more prevalent and Satya was crippled in 2 legs, Lord Krishna said, i will support the righteous even if they deal with evil in its own language

So whats the lesson for Kalyug???

ohhh my God... poor Bhai... how much did it cost to style your hair???

here is the simple explanation
In hundu Mythology it is said to have 4 eras before the balance of earth is redone with full destruction
4 eras being, 4 legs of the creature called life
Sati - everything was righteous and people used to have peace and small problems were solved easily
Tretha - when bad started taking a little more precedence, one leg of the creature was said to be crippled
Dwapara - its said right walks only on 2 legs and bad walks on two ie the creature got crippled in 2 legs
Kaliyug - this is the era we are in where everyone is scheming for something, its said the creature is crippled in 3 legs
At the end of last era, earth would be re-evaluated and redone...

As in Christianity it is said Christ will appear again to guide the good in His arc towards a new world (hope this is right... feel free to correct me...this is what i know from books)

Hi Diya!

In kaliyuga, satya will have only one leg. Actually, I am not for the descriptions of the Kaliyuga because some of them are very misogynstic. I am sorry if I hurt any believers. But the description of Kaliyuga in Mahabharatha leaves a bad taste in me. Like "daughters-in-law will make their mothers-in-law work" or "women will choose their own husbands" and such stuff.
My personal belief is that human beings have almost been the same all the years. As the civilization ages our knowledge improves and we have better understanding of both good and the bad. We have better ways of doing good or bad to others. We generally tend to ignore the good that is done and focus on the bad. But then bad stuff is what is interesting isnt it?
To answer your question - the lessons are the same. But one needs more courage to follow the right path amidst all the temptations present.

@Jake - thanks for your confidence. what astra you want today? I will give it you.

Hmmm Bee... you are right on Dot...
but my question is a bit different depending on context

in Treta Yug.... Lord Rama fought using righteous methods and was called Maryada Purushottam (which is Ahem's character according to SNS... though i can't see it anywhere)
in Dwapar yug, Krishna became the charioteer and led the war subtly with kootneeti (politics) and was hailed as the best politician... being a politician, He sometimes had to take a few decisions which were not justified as He Himself says...
In Kalyug, what kind of lessons should one follow to combat evil, since its in everyone's being... here i mean how to tackle RaUr...😉... since they are the evil reincarnated in this story of Kalyug....
