Well said and I agree to some extent that Parag had lost his rights to have a say in the lives of his children.

That being said, I would say that he still is their father. Maybe he wasn't there during their growing up but the reason being he was out their earning for them, not for himself alone. By the looks of it, Parag has always been the son who is least interested in business, he walks around like the free man, and he did what he enjoyed in his time not thinking of the benefit or loss it'll bring about. Therefore the line of income he chose never allowed him to spend time with his family.

If he really didn't care for his family then he would have left them to rot but I'm sure he tried to support his family with the minimum income he brought home ofcourse until Aham started to earn. He sure did try to convince Koki about Kinjal but he wasn't forcing her, he was "requesting" and "pleading" for her to listen to him not "ordering". So there is a difference. He realizes where he was wrong and evey time Koki blames him he accepts it without an argument.
