This family is very unappreciative. I understand that alot of people are happy with how they are treating Rashi because she is negative. But then this time she really did work hard to make sure everything was perfect for the engagment.

She lost the engagement ring and thats a big mistake but anyone could have made it.

Still Kokila didnt even once thank her or appreciate her for anything that she did but she is always ready to taunt her.

And when Rashi was explaning to her mother in law that she worked hard and stuff her mother in law was like "so what".

Thats is so not fair. This family is full of hypocrite. They never appreciate any of their daughter in laws but are always ready to punish them or taunt them like they are in school. Well even in school they dont lock u in the store room.

P.S. I am not a Rashi fan and i dont support her in torturing Gopi or playing with Jigars feelings but i just felt that this time it was unfair with her

Sorry I cant be agree here.....coz what Hetal was doing with Rashi is well deserved by her.....

As said "Kaath Ki Handi Baar Baar Nahi Chadhti"
Then Hindi Story "Sher Aaya"

All are feasible in her case now, as when every time in Past she went Scott-free even after Ruining Jigar's Life, Using Gopi, Fooling Hetal and much much more.........then when she did correct but still her long pending punishments are still waiting for her so this is the right way for Hetal to teach her that when
"U was saved by so many times but not now as its LATE "

and now if Rashi is good and not pretending to be good then she has to redeem herself rather than going to her Dark Side again........

But I just Loved it...Each n Every dialogue of Hetal just rocked...

and welcome to the forum...

Sorry but I don't agree with you. In fact Hetal has been the most supportive of the whole M-clan.

How can anyone be so careless as to loose a diamond ring or any jewelry left in you safe keeping. She should stop all her work & should have gone to keep the ring in her cupboard.

Women all around the world handle multiple things very efficiently, so Rashi saying that I've been doing things all single handedly & properly is no big deal.

The point Hetal was making is very valid. What would have happened had Kinjal's MIL created a ruckus for the "changed" finger-ring. That FR was chosen by the boy's family for the girl & the girl's family had no right to change it without informing them.

I can go on & on , about this subject but I guess you;ll get my point.

What's unrealistic or not normal, is the MILS giving jewelery to the DILs to take care of. I've always come across MILS take away even DIL stuff, so if you find a MIL who hands over the Tijori rein to her DIL, please let me know, I'll send my MIL for training.

These DIL are just newily married & have no experience handling things independently. Looking after kitchen is one thing , but looking after the social front is a totally different thing. That's where Koki & Hetal erred.

I totally agree with Hetal's stand on this issue...

Mistakes are incidents that we learn from and not repeat... and this girl has been misplacing things and doing things wrong from day 1. Because of rashi's mistake family prestige would have gone to dust, if this issue wouldn't have come to hetal's notice... and all in-laws are not like Ketki Kaki's family... If it would have been Urmila who would have misplaced ring meant for Gopi, Koki would have done a Tandav right on the function venue

If you see here Koki didnt even say a thing till rashi called her from behind while koki was leaving... and then too Koki just said the truth... I won't say Koki is always right but she is right most of the times... and if we see her punishments kept people from taking advantage of Gopi... what would have happened if the ring in there was gopi's engagement ring instead of Baa's gift to hetal... i am shivering just thinking about it...

I would say Rashi got one chance too many... till now she was hiding behind Gopi and when Gopi was asked to keep away from most stuff, she is looking for support from Hetal..

Spare the stick spoil the child.... Rashi would be spoiled if she is not reigned in now... when u go to ur in-laws, there are customs that you need to follow... there are different ways of doing the same thing... and those are called customs... every family takes pride in their culture and want to teach it to their next generation... Here only DILs are resilient enough to accept change...
Guys as you know are more stubborn than girls( exceptions are always there, but this is generic truth)

I am sorry I cannot agree with you. Apparently, couple of months ago I was reading a relationship article. According to it, men and women should avoid going into relationships with people who say things like "I did this one wrong, but last time remember I was the one who bought you the dinner?". In the article, there was a term for such behavior. But I just can't remember it right now. Now Rashi did the same thing. So what if she took care of snacks and everything? Isn't she a part of the family? Gopi and all others in the house do more work than her, but they do not use them as an excuse to get away with their wrongdoings.

And also it is a matter of an engagement ring that came from another house. It isn't like Koki and Hatel bought it. I don't think what Rashi did can be accepted even in real life.

Last, Rashi wasn't doing any of those work from the heart. She always had something evil going in her head. The lesson we learn from her story is that if we do not do something with clean intention we will never get the result we are looking for.

But as a daughter in law, Rashi should have been helping the family of her own free will as its now her own family and not use the stuff shes done as a bargin tool later and it had no connection to the lost ring which has the whole modi's izzat at stake.

Besides hetal, gopi was the only one who offered to put her ring in the place of the missing one, rashi didn't even think to offer.

Gopi does the work cause shes happy to do it for her own family and neither does she expect anything back from it.

All the women do the work in modi house but they just get on with it and dont tally how much who has done what. Koki only decided to give rashi responsibility of the keys to catch rashi out and make her stop being so lazy and contribute to the house.

I can understand why you feel bad for Raashi .... cos this time she was really trying to do everything right ..... she even refused to listen to her mom !
BUT .....see it from Hetal's POV ... this was the straw that broke the camel's back ..... Hetal has always sided with Raashi and got her out of trouble .... but this time ... things went too far ....
So I have no complaints with what Hetal did .....
BTW ... I agree with DMfan ... the MILs should know how much responsibility and what kind of chores to give the DILs .... afterall the girls are young and inexperienced ......

Well sorry but i disagree! Everything Rashi did was so she can get some attention and be praise by Hetal n Kokila not because she is after the best interest of the family. As a father u will not be praised all the time for paying the bills n as a mother ur kids might not alwayz say thanks for all you do for them so also as a daughter in law u wouldn't always be praised for taking care of the house especially when u manage to mess it all up

I understand where ur coming from........in fact for a second I also thought "poor girl really meant good this time"...............HOWEVER, loosing the engagement ring is not a small mistake. The ring is what the whole party is about. She failed in the biggest task. As you said anyone could have lost the ring, well in that case anyone could have done the preparations Rashi did. If it was left to Gopi, she might have done the same job. Hetal's "so what" was not that she didn't appreciate her work, but it was more like that is not a excuse for loosing the ring. If you listen to her next line, Hetal says "what does that have to do with the ring?" Rashi was once again trying to get herself out of a situation by saying she was busy in all the work and doesn't know what happened with the ring. Rashi took it upon herself to arrange everything, she could have invovled Gopi or even Jigar to help her, but she wanted to be the "great bahu". Yes, she did do a fab job, but her responsiblity doesn't end there, and that is the point. Its like saying, I did a lot of work today, and all you really have done is washed a couple of dishes (my husband uses this all the time, it gets me so mad😡 😆) So the moral of the story is, that she is the bahu of the family, it was her duty to arrange everything with full responsiblity. But she failed once again and she should be punished.

I agree with all you on this topic so there nothing left for me to add, as you ladies have said it all. Rashi got what she deserve and what make's it better is that it was her own MIL that punished her not kokila.
