Where's the father son relationship in this drama. We only see the mothers interacting with their sons and daughter in laws. I dont think we've seen Ahem say more than a couple of sentences to his dad. Same with Jigar. Parag should take some responsibility in trying to fix his son's marriage. He can have a word with Ahem man to man though it seems Ahem don't respect Parag the way he should.

Also what is stopping Rashi having "relations" with Jigar. I thought she fancied him before the wedding.

Rashi didnt fancy Jigar... she fancied the luxuries ad the benefits she will get by becoming bade ghar ki bahu... the mercenary lady.😡😡😡😡 and you are right about male characters... they are just fillers...
Umang seems to have one dialogue... ab dekhna Ahem Modi... meri didi ka dil todne ka anzaam or whatever... when ever Kinjal is on phone, she does the 90% of the talk...
In Indian dramas guys are shown as people without substance mostly

Diya, I watch a couple of other shows and on one of them, they are developing the father son relationship and brother/brother relationship and even the 3 men together have great banter and camaraderie. The dialogues between the men are great and appropriate for those relationships. The men are not the 2 dimensional caricatures we see here in the typical Rashmi Sharma fashion.

On SNS they have lot of opportunities to work with the male actors but don't do it...Both Aham/Parag or Jigar/Chirag. Even Aham could be close to Chirag or Jigar and Aham. But they never go there..I just don't get it.

But all of that is a distant dream if the TRPs stay high.

One of the jokes on this forum is that the parts of Parag and Chirag could be played by cardboard cutouts. Just position them where you want them... It's only slightly better for Jigar and Aham. Lately, Umang and Elish have more screen time and dialogue than any of the other men on the show. We haven't been able to figure it out.

I've said many times that I don't know why the don't use the men more. I know, I know, it's a show targeted at middle age women, blah, blah, blah. I guess I'm just too Western. I like men in my shows. Preferably ones who are not unfortunate looking.🤣 They need to use our Golden boy and Jigar more.

It's all maddening.

Nothing new about that. Very few shows show men actually having a relationship and having lines to say. Even in this show its the same.

Diya, it is too bad that it is an exception. Because it makes the show more interesting!

I didn't realize because I don't have a lot of experience with watching hindi soaps.

This show has so many good characters that they could do so much. It is so frustrating when you see the potential being wasted.

good post...

and frank;y speaking in this show none of the relations have been developed much, whether its Urmi-Parag/Hetal-Chirag or Aham-Jigar or Parag-Chirag or Gopi-Aham...
but we have few of them lil bit
Jigar-Rashi n Koki-Gopi n Rashi-Gopi

Except these all other relations are like just to come and act as its MERE a show and nothing more than that, but CVs have forgot that we watch this show not just as A show, many of us relate ourself to the show its story and characters.

and also CVs must have lost their Script with which they started the show, as I feel they are confused on whom to concentrate and whom not to. They are just unable to figure out who is Important for the show, Which story to develop and which not to.

so they are in between an Ocean w/o any sort of Support just getting A Moral booster (as TRPs) to do something good but they are unable to do so.
