This experience is a lesson to both Koki and Aham.

Aham (monster) is Koki's creation! She is all about her dikara, he has never heard "No" from her! He has never said no to her...He married Gopi to make her happy but neither one are happy. Finally she is asking for something that is completely outside his comfort zone. Dancing/Dandiya involves more intimacy and feeling than he is willing to express and admit. He is very ambivalent, conflicted and torn about this feeling for Gopi that he can't cope with this conversation and walks off.

Perhaps, without watching the show and just by reading your posts I am thinking that this may be a turning point for all of them. As long as the CVs take it to the next level!

I'm sorry, but I can't just enjoy Ahem's chocolate boy looks now. Its just too irritating to see Gopi's situation and always crying face, while he's always angry and shouting. To be fair, I don't blame Ahem also. Koki at least (if she really values Gopi) should take the initiative and teach her basic reading writing skills. Also put some common sense inside Gopi's head, build self-confidence - be a Prof. Higgins, basically. Then we can see Ahem falling for her.

Currently what does Gopi have to attract Ahem to her? Beauty? So many girls are beautiful! So Ahem can get attracted to anybody, why only Gopi???

CVs should work on answering these questions, and not prolong our agony like this.

Sorry for sounding off like this, but I truly hoped this show was different, alas! For me.

Why cry dear... Pride comes before a fall... So Koki's Ahem (ahankaar/Pride) will surely fall soon... 😊... and the not so evident hand in that fall, would no doubt belong to our Gopi...

and in one way its good too... because Gopi is really not keen on dancing and if we consider Ahem, i guess he has 2 left feet and that is why he didnt even listen to his mom😉...

now think, who would be blamed for a bad performance if our dearest Ahem messes it up....

But it was really bad on part of Koki to send Gopi on stage even when she knew that her not so good Dikhra has already left... does she have a stone in place if both heart and brain... and then she goes "ye maari Gopi bahu che"😡 as being her bahu will remove all the pain, hurt and confusion Gopi is feeling. but in other stuff she is basically tough to make sure people like rashi don't take advantage of a naive girl

First of all why are they treating it as a ghar ki izzat thing yaar...there are soo many stupid people in this world we cant go answering back to each and everyone yaar...and how on earth is it Gopi's responsibility....i am sure she will dance well as she is the lead...but it is bad....its the known fact now both koki's kids are out of her control now...

you can bet on it... but i do like the fanfics you guys are creating... and i like them better than the show tooo..

hey Sadhli, just a suggestion can you put all fanfic names under one post..., so we can search for that post as and when we are in mood of reading fanfics... I loved the fanfics in which we started from the show concept and gave a good makeover to Gopi as an MBA grad... and yours too where now Ahem is searching for gopi... I couldn't find more, so thought you guys may know more about them
