you will really enjoy here. more than the serial the forum is addictive.

how about this tittle SAAS DIKRA AUR BECHARI BAHU or JUDAVO RISTHA SAASU MA AUR
BAHU KI

for your information this serial was originally titled saasuma but later change to the present one since the production house thought it will be appropriate for contemporary society.

Here's my biggest gripe with the Gopi character. There is a difference between having no guile, being the peacemaker, devotee etc. and being a complete doormat. Rashi, Kinja, Urmi and sometimes Koki and Hetal rage at her and she stands there shaking her head with that stupid look on her face. Why can't she let them rage at her, and when they're done, calmly set them straight? She doesn't need to go all crazy back at them. She just needs to look them in the eye when they're done with their tirades and let them know her side of the story. She doesn't have to stoop to their level.

She always acts like a child, not knowing what to do. She doesn't know Kinjal's cell number? I'm sorry, but this is the 21st century. She wasn't raised in some remote village. She should not be this dumb. Kinjal yells at her like it's her fault and she just stands there? Rashi unleashes her wrath and she looks down like it's all her fault? Really?

At this point, Gopi is almost cartoonish. Come on CVs! Get your act together!
Perfectly put, saomom. I couldn't agree more. At this point, I am done with Gopi. Unless her character isn't made some drastic changes to, I just can't get on board her being an acceptable life partner for any man, period. What the CV's don't seem to get is that ultimately this kind of behaviour no longer remains sympathetic - it becomes offensive, to the viewers sensibilities.
Oh and btw, love your avy. Now N&S was an epic romance indeed.

Thank you. The whole show is driving me nuts.

Now onto happier things. N&S. <sigh> Yes, an epic romance. Mr. Thornton has a very special place in my heart. I like him more than Mr. Darcy, which speaks volumes! And I'll watch pretty much anything with Richard Armitage in it! Not picky at all when it comes to him. 😆 And yes, hubby knows all about my obsession! He just laughs knowing that he has the #1 place in my heart, no matter what Mr. Armitage acts or looks like!

Ha! Good for your hubby. :-) Celeb crushes are harmless, but fun.
It's a tough choice for me, b/w Darcy and Thornton. Both are awesome in their own rights.
Back on topic - yeah. I got nothing, lol.

I totally agree. Yeah, she is uneducated, but she has been told by her sasumah to stand up for herself. She seems to be always confused about that.
To be honest, I do feel bad for Ahem. Gopi is not the person who is fit to be a wife at all. She is fit to be a servant. Men want women who already are sure of themselves. I mean how long can you go on teaching someone? Ahem has not married her to be her daddy and mommy. He married like you said so that she becomes his support.

Also if you remember Koki said to Hatel that Gopi did have some weaknesses, but she was gonna make sure to take care of them. So where is that now? CVS forgot about it? I thought Koki would help Gopi with education. Nothing like that is really happening. It seems this serial is all about Rashi gold digger's quest for "gold coins".

Respecting ur pov completely, all i can say is just that a man needs many more things in his life partner than education.
I agree it's difficult fr smone that literate to accept her bt there needs to be a limit!!!!
She is much btr in many odr ways than her educated counterparts ....
women these days hardly indulge in house work... esp if they're educated or if they do, they do get help frm their hubbies!
She does all the household chores, loves him, supports him, listens to him, follows his words.... taking them to be the last word, respcts him...
She's the limit of Perfection!
I hope she gets a bit more dignity and finally able to carve out a niche 4 herself in the modi mansion!
