I know nearly zilch about the hindu religion, so I'm going to go out on a limb here.

Maybe the way the are going to advance the story is through the festivals. The Modi's seem to be quite the religious family (that's about ALL they have going for them lol) and maybe it's through these different festivities and rituals that Gopi and Aham are brought together. Seems like the husbands and wives are required to do certain things together during the festivals, and so this may be a way of making Aham be close to Gopi and noticing her devoutness/beauty ect. I would think that being raised in such a religious home, he would want someone with the same values and principles. It is a natural way for his interest to be piqued...

i dont know anything about hindu religion thats why i did a little bit of research it is interesting to see.

I totally agree with you but that seems to be goin very slowly,When Aham starting ranting to kokila i was hoping it had to do with Gopi breaking the fast but instead he called Gopi a liar and something else i give up listening to him after a while. When he was listening to Gopi while she was doing the kartha he was proud. he does not see this unpar ladki as a religious girl at all. My curiosity would be how does this person knows about religion.

Maybe he's grasping at straws? He knows he can't get her on not being devout, so he goes back to the accusation that she's the thief of Kinjal's jewelry?

If this is true, then Koki needs to step up, like now, and set the record straight with him. He needs to know the truth. I really hope it's in today's episode, but for some reason, my gut is saying that she'll never tell him...
