It was definitely a look of admiration or something close to that....he usually looks at her with anger, disdain, distrust, distaste...it was none of that.

It wasn't the way he looked at Kinjal because he almost smiled with love/amusement during the tikka and aarti.

He is moving in the right direction but like a snail.

it was indeed a look of Admiration.....and dont u heard BG when Aham first raised his eye sight to look at Gopi....its just a Reflection that he is falling for Gopi.......but having a fight with is Ego, who is not letting him to look at Gopi...but today his Ego failed when he was staring at her......Admiring her....
