Nivedita happy with vamp act
She was calling the shots in Saat Phere in absentia, even compelling Saloni to become a vamp for sometime to fill in for her. But now, Nivedita Bhattacharya, as jiji, is back with a vengeance and trying to make Saloni's life more miserable. "It's fun to be a part of this gang," says the actor a who, for first time, is playing a negative role. Till Saat Phere happened, Nivedita played the good bahu in all her outings that include Kartavya, Kundli and Ayushmaan. "Which is why I accepted this vampish character since I found it was meaty and interesting," reasons Nivedita. Yet her track was missing in between. "That's how it was designed to be. I took up the serial because I knew I will be a part of it for five months and disappear for sometime. It suited me because I don't want to be stuck to a serial for 12 months," says the actor. So, will she vanish again? "I have just made a comeback, let's see how it goes," she smiles.
