18th July, Wednesday – Update
Sridhar's house:
Sridhar's mom finds his soiled jeans in the corner. She finds the soil, which is stuck on the jeans n she thinks that the soil matches the soil of Brijesh's farmhouse.
She is terrified… she calls her husband… He asks her what's the matter…. She then expresses her doubt… She even tells him that, Sridhar came home very late that night when Pia got raped.
He too gets worried about it… he warns his wife tat not to open her mouth regarding this with anyone. He asks her to wash the jeans.
Brijesh's house:
Everyone is sitting in the drawing hall. Brijesh asks Tara whether Pia had eaten anything at all. Tara says no. He asks her to get juice for Pia.
He asks Saloni to bring Pia out of her room… Saloni brings her out.
Brij makes her sit… he lovingly asks her why she is confining herself to the room… why she is not coming out in open. He asks her to get out of the house for fresh air!
Tara brings juice for Pia… but, Pia doesn't drink the juice… then Brijesh takes it in his hand…
He reminds Pia about their childhood, n how he used to feed Pia with his own hands.
Pia is about to take the juice… a lawyer enters the house and asks for Mrs. Pia.
Brijesh shows Pia to him and asks him why he is there. He then says that there is a notice on Pia's name. Brij takes it n reads…n he gets angry… Nahar asks his brother what it is..
Brijesh then tells him that, Sridhar had finally shown his true colors… he proved how shameless he is by sending divorce papers for Pia.
Nahar too gets furious… he qns the lawyer about, on what charges he sent those papers.
Lawyer says that the charges r that, Pia is a characterless woman, n she has illicit relationships with many men.
Brijesh gets so mad listening these accusations…n goes n catches hold of lawyers neck…n asks him how dare he is to say such things about his sister.
Listening all this Pia runs to her room crying.
She calls up Sridhar and asks him how can he do such thing to her even after knowing in what kind of state she is in. She asks him to think honestly and answer whether his accusations r true or not..
Sridhar thn further insults her by saying, that whatever he said is correct… n why she is upset about it.
She requests him for not to say such things..
Brijesh comes there n snatches the phone from her. And he says thanks to Sridhar for sending divorce papers. He tells him, if he didn't do that, he himself would have done the same thing. He says his sister can never with such a cheap n horrible person.
He turns to Pia and asks her why she had to call Sridhar…n why she was requesting a person like him… he leaves.
Saloni comes there n hugs Pia who is still crying. Pia says that she is ready to sign the papers.
Saloni asks her her not to do such things, without thinking properly.
She tells Pia that, if she signs divorce papers, its like giving Sridhar whatever he asked for.
She tells Pia that by agreeing for divorce its like, she is accepting all his allegations.
Sal requests Pia not to sign the papers till she proves herself. She explains her how important is self-respect! And she asks her to fight for it!
Saloni asks Pia to go with her to a temple… she tells her that it will be a nice change for her. Pia agrees.
At the temple:
Sal n Pia reach the temple, n about to enter… someone asks them to stop. They turn n find a man called Thakur Ram singh. He asks Sal how can she take Pia into the temple after what has happened to her. He says its against rules. N he tells her that temple is such a sacred place, where ppl like Pia shouldn't be allowed.
Saloni gets angry … She asks him why they are not allowing Pia into the temple, in what way she is sinned. She tells him that Pia dint commit any sin… she is just a victim of someone else's sin.. She questions him that instead of giving punishment to the person who committed the sin, why they r punishing Pia…
And she challenges everybody… that she will see to it, how anybody can stop Pia from entering the temple…n she takes her inside against their objections.
Sal n Pia give aarati…
Thakur Ram Singh calls up Brijesh n complains abt Sal… Asks him to teach Sal about the society rules.
Brijesh is upset…. Tara asks him what it is, which is bothering him a lot.
She then informs about the incident.
Sal n Pia return home just then.
Brijesh asks Pia to leave for her room n qns Sal why she has taken Pia inside the temple…
Saloni says that how can nyone stop Pia entering the temple…she asks him whats her fault…why she has to suffer for some1 else's fault.
Brijesh tells her its not about doing justice to Pia… its about going against the society… he says, if she does that, everyone in the city will come to know abt what happened to Pia.. n he tells her that if that happens, thn it will become very difficult for Pia to even step out of the house.
Kaki sa supports Brijesh..
Kaki says whether they like or not… they have to follow society's rules..
Saloni qns them, that what's the use of such society which instead of helping Pia, throwing stones at her..
Brijesh then firmly tells Sal that he won't listen anything about it anymore…
No1 says anything…. Sal n Nahar r shocked…
Tomorrow:
Pia goes to Sridhar… n he throws her out by calling her characterless… he drags her out of the house… n sees Abhi thr…
